Let me design the entire map and I'll discuss the plan crash idea with my friends and partners; It's easy to change it back to normal, but for now it's going to stay!

I like the idea of a crash site in the city however if there's more then one crash site (like the one shown in the desert a few pages back) I think it's going to become a sore sight to see and actually kill the uniqueness you're going for. I like everything else about the map though! City Insurgency maps are great to play on!

My apologies French! The picture of the crash is the same thing, I just took it at different angles; One photo facing the city and the other photo facing the undeveloped side of the city

what I like - you're setting down an infrastructure, that's great

you're giving good care and attention to the usage of your enterables I think, which is also great.
things to watch out for - using too many lampposts in long lines, you're being inefficient and also it doesn't look very good, particularly when vehicles zoom on them imo.
Roads - I would advise using Road intersection statics as much as possible, this makes much nicer transitions between splines. Since you're using the highway texture, there may be some retexturing required. using airport_01 will make your life alot easier, but is not as nice looking imo.
EDIT - if you don't use intersections, you're gonna need to use custom road templates to set up the prios correctly.
I recommend trying to fill up some of the empty space on your streets a bit, I found the same problem on Burning Sands. I would recommend looking at the main road through Al Basrah for ideas.

Rudd, I know exactly what you mean, and you'r right! But like you said, I couldn't find any intersections with the same texture as the highway. I know how to do it but I just couldn't find one that would fit. It's not to late to change anything and I will probably use the Airport one like you recommended

I don't really like the airport texture, however I do not know how to create a custom intersection. Unless someone kindly offers to help me make one, I'm keeping the road I used with the shabby intersections
I have also been setting up the Prios and not it looks much better

In the road intersections tutorial there is a quick explanation on custom intersections. Apparently they aren't hard to make at all. Since it's just a plane and a texture on it.
I'll be honest man. I love the idea and concept behind the crash site. But with the statics we have it looks really gamey to say the least. Since it looks like the buildings just kind of sunk into the ground. Maybe commission someone to make some crash statics? But what I would do is move the crash site out of the city maybe into a farmers field as that would be so much more believable with the statics we have and stuff

just my two cents. I'm not trying to put you down it's just what I see

consider it for gameplay and realism purposes ;D

Just use existing ones, keeping your roads the same width and its easy enough for someone to swap out the textures later on.
