I like 100 Players it could work with the proper mechanics adjusted. Weapon accuracy is way better aswell. Weapons are way more deadly now. Before we had game deviation now it really feels like a gun.

There should be more cappable flags at the same time and maybe more known caches on Insurgency, so the -50 players teams aren't too concentrated on the same spots.

But good job, DEVs. 1.0 looks already great in this beta version. Really amazing work.

Deep decline in performance, maps like Saaremaa and Ramiel are almost unplayable.

Our pilots' getting problems on some jets and chopper.
Take little bird for example: the lock alarm is way too low. When pilot's flying, he can barely hear it.
When engaging targets, pilots can hear shit and ownd by AA.

BTW, Mumble's crashing all the time is troubling me, dunno how to solve it. I need to restart the whole thing...Even I start Mumble from PR_BETA, BIN, MUMBLE. It still crashed...

All name tags should be re

Yes. No tags are better than partial tags. I'm sure there would be some performance boost server and client side too?

How does that fix it? I'll spawn camp it all round long if a specialist/Engi won't come to me.

I feel the game pace is a little too fast now, not because deviation changes or anything, but because 100p servers.

It just feels like on Sareemaa theres always people all around you.

I would like to try 1.0 on a officially mumble supported 64p or 70 or 80p server. Just to see how things change.

The good:
-deviations kicks ***
-Effects are amazing
-Spotter and Machine gunner are cool
-lone wolfing is harder (no binoculars)
-100 players is cool (when it works)
-Loading screen etc. nice and easy.

The bad:
-Performance problems for some (probably just need to turn down the graphics on Russian servers).
-Ramiel not called Mogadishu.
-No view distance options (hard on the laptop).

The ugly:
-Mumble not working.
-Server crashes (haven't actually witnessed that but that's what ive heard.)

That pretty much sums up the good, the bad and the ugly about 1.0 Beta.
Personally i think its improved a lot over 0.98 and once the bugs are ironed out it will be epic! good work Devs.

People will get more careful. At first its going to be difficult but later people will check their maps.

Totally for removing the game tags! as said above me, people will get more careful instead of spraying on first thing they see! That is the PR i joined the community for :P

After a couple days of playing here is my reaction.

The battle sounds are absolutely incredible. You are body slammed with way more immersion. It's savage and intense. My first few minutes of playing I remember our squad being flown into the field and having a chopper about 50 meters next to ours obliterated out of the sky... Boom and a ball of black smoke... all that was missing was feeling the impact of the shockwave and the smell of sulfar and hot steel. Wow

My oh my does the community need to adjust for 1.0. Instead of regular hot sauce we are served very, very hot sauce. Albeit when mumble was down at times it was hot sauce in the eye. I've had 2 ctd's but I think they are related to my graphics driver since I'm still finishing up a new win8 install. The game pace has slowed a bit because of the bullets find you more often now but I predict the tactics will drastically improve once people adjust to the lethality of the game. I'm glad were here with 1.0 it's been worth the waiting.

DEV's, contributors.. testers.. everyone involved. Thank you!

Mumble keeps giving me a "mumble has stopped working" error and it keeps tabbing me out... it's made me crash several choppers it's stupid. Is there a fix?

Not sure if this has been said but for Alternate LAT kit for the russians (the RPG-7VM?....anyway it has a scope) when you aim down the scope of the RPG and sidestrafe the sight completely disappears and you are left with a zoomed in screen for a few moments.
Hope this helps, good job on the game its brilliant.

EDIT: wrong thread sorry.

... IIRC they had nametags removed completely a while back (or else only visible at a very short distance), but that got tossed when everyone realized they couldn't tell who was standing next to them in-game. It's not a good idea.

Ideally, IMO, you wouldn't be able to see nametags through walls, but that'll be hardcoded.
