I play with hardwired connection and have never had a random CTD on a North American server. I do get CTDs from the German and Dutch servers still.

Spriggan, someone told me you fixed the Creative Sound XFi card problems with 1.0, could you please share your fix with the hardware support thread for the XFi card?

I didn't have to reinstall any X-FI soundblaster drivers. I simply changed audio settings form ultra high to high per instructions of the stickied thread.

Since then I have not crashed during map change or crashed for not restarting the game after any given round.

I have a hardwired connection, had for 4 years, I'm the one who started this thread with my problem. So apparently it doesn't help.

I just cannot enjoy this game any longer. It is not fun to play for 20 minutes then, boom, connection to server lost. This is frustrating. Ive searched and done nearly EVERYTHING mentioned. Put comp in DMZ, turned off fire wall, changed TCP settings in cmd.

Just played a short round on PRTA.. kept disconnecting every 10 minutes. Disconnected 2 times and then thought fuck it and ALT F4'd.

I tried everything: forwarding those ports, installing that reset process lasso thing, etc. Nothing helped.

Fucking shit, just ruined a perfectly good round, and I as a squadleader disconnected and left my whole 8-man squad alone in despair.. Fix this quickly guys.

Been having the exact same problem as well. Initially, thought it may be PB related. No dice there. Was playing wireless, so went straight ethernet and still having problem. Really hope this is being looked at. I also realize it has been less than a week since the release of 1.0. Here are my specs:

I'm noticing that all of us have Creative cards. I can't run without mine because my onboard audio ports are busted. (Didn't discover that until I tried running without Creative.)

Someone else give it a shot?

I'm going to say that isn't the problem because 4 people in my clan use creative cards and don't have the problem.

Hm, I think some guys tried disabling DMZ and it didn't work, and disabling DMZ should give the same effect as forwarding these ports. But let's give it a go!

Yeah, my computer is DMZ'd in my router and that didn't solve it.

Further, I completely bypassed the router and that didn't solve it. :/

Honestly, the issue is being more and more random. It doesn't matter what factors I change, sometimes it happens and sometimes it doesn't.
