  1. You can setup 5 at a time of the same type of IED so you can effectively make 2 instant vehicle kill spots that you don't have to over-watch.(double water container) with just 1 kit.
I think that Water Container works same like mines. It means that you can plant 30(?) of them.
5 at same times only work for remote activated Ieads, claymores etc.

can someone confirm it?

In my whole PR career this has failed only ONCE! It does not only work on woodland maps. Even on Kashan in the wide open desert, tanks approched me. I had nowhere to go and dropped my kit. They were driving in my direction for a couple of minutes until they passed 10 m next to me without noticing. I tell you, this works every god damn time. everytime I think, no way I will be lucky today again and still they ignore me. Especially with Thermals on they cannot spot the difference between a dead and a lying unarmed.

And this even works with INF too!

So many times, I had whole INF squads coming at me. And there is no bush or house to hide in. I just dropped my kit and they all just passed me. Last time was on Black Gold. I was behind a small hill, where an enemy FOB was. All friendlies died around me. I heared a shitload of footsteps behind it, coming my way. I dropped it. 10 people spawning there literally stepped on top of me. Only the last guy had to spot me when running by and stop in front of me, trollin and killing me before I was able to deploy my gun and kill him....and it was MONGOL that bugger  !

The manual can confirm this :) and I also tested it myself. The insurgent engineer can have 15 Ied's simultaneously. 5 mortar round IED's, 5 Mine IED's and 5 Water Container IED's
PR MANUAL wrote:Remote detonated explosives are explosives that are detonated by a remote device trigger by the individual
who placed the explosives and are generally used for ambushes and defence. Anti-Personnel Mines
(Claymores) take 5 seconds to arm after placing. When arming the detonator a sound will indicate when this
time has elapsed. If explosives are triggered prematurely, they won't explode at all. IEDs don't have this
safeguard. Most explosives have to be setup whilst in the prone position. A player can place up to 4 AP mines
and 5 C4 packs or IEDs simultaneously. Some soldiers can place two independent groups of explosives which
can be triggered individually. These explosives can all be diffused by the Combat Engineer?s wrench.

Kits: AP Mines: Conventional Forces, ARF, Militia, Hamas & Taliban Rifleman AP | Dynamite IED: ARF, Militia, Hamas &
Taliban Sapper | Mine IED: ARF, Militia, Hamas, Insurgent & Taliban Sapper Alternative | Mortar IED: ARF, Militia,
Hamas, Insurgent & Taliban Sapper Alternative & Rifleman AP Alternative | TNT IED: ARF, Militia, Hamas & Taliban
Sapper | Water Container IED: ARF, Militia, Hamas & Taliban Sapper and Engineer
