Awesome, committed it to the next test build so unless we run into any issues with it, it should be in the next update :D

Cheers again! This small change alone should really improve our lasing system :)

Is this in the 1.1 patch?

Mats,
I got in a good round in as a SL spotter on Bijar Canyons, got through an entire round without any laser glitches. This works so well it might unbalance the game. I mean that as a compliment, but I'm serious, it might be too OP.

You might consider coding options to loosen either the "targeting" code, of the "stickyness" code of the lasers, we might want to test this for gameplay balancing as time goes on.

Such an improvement over the prior system, was great to track moving targets with ease!

The adjustment actually is reduce the laze duration. currently 30, could be less since they're consistent now.

Thanks to all of you, nice to see that it is working.
Does this also make AT missiles deadly again?

Anyway i think we should now test to increase the speed w/o falling back to jumpy lasers(up to 500m/s should be ok) and decrease the lifetime. Maybe even implement a timer to see how long laser will last to coordinate CAS better with short lifetime.

Indeed this would be the next best step to improving our lasers :D
