Working as intended.
Working as intended yes, but that doesn't change my opinion that it is a "cheesy" weapon.
It is like when Indiana Jones shots the swordsman.
He uses his pistol as intended, but If he had gone up against that guy with a scimitar (or his whip) he probably would have lost. This makes it a cheesy weapon in my book . But lets agree to disagree show we.

In a matter of life and death who gives a shit if a weapon is "Cheesy" if it gets the job done.

It is more serious than any Indiana Jones movie.

rather strange...Its a rule for me to grenade the hell of an occupied T-shaped before entering, or any other building for that matter. Same goes for my mates..not to mention INS which is a nade fest inside the city. So really...where this nades issue came from?

I'll quote Rex on this: "If you die with a spare mag, or a spare grenade, you are doing it wrong".

I disagree that the power bar should be removed, I also think it should be removed for the overheating of the mounted guns too. PR has gotten too easy, I think the less HUD the better. Go train for a while and you'll know when to throw the nade or when to stop shooting an HMG.

Indiana Jones (the character) realized into the standoff he had a pistol and used it. Same thing I was trying to point out in the OP. Just another option. Not every situation needs a grenade. Maybe you just need to call in CAS?

I bet if you know what Youtube is you know this "lucky" guy,
Same thing happened in boot camp (1977). Guy hit the top of the concrete wall and it bounced inside of the U shaped bunker. 4 guys ran faster out of there than you can imagine. No one got hurt and the drill sergeant cussed for 15 minutes.
Grenades are a tool in your tool bag.. like other weapons. Ever pull a knife out in a gun fight. Same thing happens when reaching for a green spawlding. Just have to be used in the right circumstances depending on their effectiveness. I'm glad I'm not alone out there using nades. You know the score..
Keep on chuckin' !

I mainly use them as a means to clear out enemies, but I also often use them as a means of cover or suppression so I can either charge the enemy or fall back.
I rarely use them 1 on 1 in close quarter combats, since I can risk the enemy charge me and dump his whole magazine in me.

Too many people get focused on shooting their enemy. I hate it when people don't toss grenades in a room with known hostiles before entering them. It's also amazing how many people refuse to believe that grenades will blow up any unarmored vehicle in addition to crates.

You have no point...
Grenades have very low range and is fairly inaccurate(no crosshair or sights, obviously) as well as disable your ability to shoot anyone in that many seconds it takes to pull it out and throw it.
They also explode many seconds after(if you throw it in cqb; people can simply run away).
The kill and would radius it has makes it balanced.
And it is a necessary tool to have when there is no leaning function in PRbf2. Running inside a covered door just gets you shot.

I think and have suggested before but was passed up on a suggestion thread, the rifleman should gain +3 gernades instead of 2 to differientiate the kit a little more. Only a ammo bag makes a rifleman unique? Most players don't care much about a ammo bag they care about a kits equipment for battle,(having a AR officer gets a pistol, binos etc). +3 gernades on conventional rifleman is a good balance between too many nades(4+) and makes the kit a little more useful and convincing for players to consider being a normal footsoldier rather than needing something specialized. What do you all think? Doesn't make much sense some kits get 2 nades plus a LAT etc, while the rifleman actually has less equipment there other than ammo.

I would argue that an ammo bag is better then extra grenades. I'd rather have ammo for my AT/other special kits if they run out, you get enough grenades in an 8 man squad as it is

Rifleman = The best kit in the game. Ammo for everything. Nothing is more versatile. Gernade count is enough; 20 for GL, +10 from other kits if you have an AR and a medic.
If you waste all of your squads grenades, that means the firefight was really big, and you should be running out of ammo aswell sooner or later; youre in to request supplies anyway.
Ammobag is necesarry primarily for rounds & epipens, if you play right, not grenades.

Or it just means you had a lot of rooms to clear. I think the rifleman should get four grenades. The ammo bag is good for replacing magazines and one grenade but good luck refueling a LAT if he used his frags and some magazines.
Most people die before they need to restock and by the time you get low, you find yourself near a crate anyway. For me, the ammo bag is mostly used on myself to throw one more grenade. Maybe once a game will a squadmate request one, and it's usually a medic because he's out of epipens.

Than that means CAS copters are the cheesiest weapons in existence. They can take out a full squad without blinking. However, that is the whole purpose of a chopper, and it also the purpose of a grenade.

Currently if I'm low on nades I just drop an ammo bag (in the right situation). In which case the rifleman has 3 nades (the third is stowed away).
I think it is a shame that you can't let the counter run down before releasing it (so that you can have it explode straight away, etc). As currently in the game it is so easy to just run away from a nade if it's thrown at you. As long as you get a small peice of cover between it and you you are totally fine.
It would be GREAT if it were possible to have the gun cocking animation shorter after throwing a nade, so you aren't so vulnerable. If someone throws a nade around a corner sometimes you can just run out and shoot them in the face, lol.

When people ask if I need a certain kit in the squad, I always say rifleman.
