The lone wolf spawn in main join a poorly named squad like free kits or recon (that doesn't recon) or an asset squad without driving any assets and check if:

HAT is available
Sniper is available
Machine gunner is available
AA is available

Then takes a logistic truck and drive off into the sunset.

The cancer of PR

It's not all about that either. I often see a full squad having a HAT-kit, which by all means is better than one dude using it alone, but they're still misusing it by choosing shitty tactics which almost always gets the HAT killed.

Like spearheading a CQB assault on the front lines. Make sure you got that HAT. It's also a waste to grab the HAT right off the bat before any enemy armor is likely to be encountered simply because the valuable kit can easily get lost if your transport vehicle is destroyed. It's better to get to your destination. Build your FOB. Then get the kit.

When a round has just started it will always be picked up by someone of course. What you can do is "hope" that the noob who took the HAT will get blown up inside a vehicle then you can put your egg timer to 10 min and request it by then
