I'm surprised you can even play with windows 8.Raphavenger wrote:Asus G55V
Reminder: Windows 8 sucks for older games.

Do you have the right drivers installed? Sometimes with older or low-end hardware you'll actually have better performance if you use an older driver version. If you're following that guide and using SweetFX, it might just be too much for your card to handle. Just get rid of SweetFX and it'll run butter smooth and still look decent.akilmaf wrote:My settings:

I also applied these settings too : https://www.realitymod.com/forum/f112-pr-bf2-tales-front/124625-pr-bf2-guide-best-possible-graphics-nvidia-gpu.html
And on some maps my FPS looks normal. But in some other maps (+ when look at smokes) my FPS drops so much.
I'm consufed which option is better for me and heard that if I set my settings higher in stead of lower my FPS will be better.
So , waiting for your hand to get rid of this FPS problem. I don't need best graphics but I need graphics that don't effect my gameplay with a good FPS.
Save me guyz![]()

So, will I run it fine on this rig?

I used to play 0.98 with 17 constant FPS. Maybe a little higher sometimes. But then one time I was playing Kashan skirmish and got 30 FPS, and I was like:"What magic is this? Is this how the others play?". I planned to get a new PC but then shit happened, but now I'm getting one and there will be no happier person than me when I load up PR.Fir3w411 wrote:I run the game full low (I'll post resolution later) with 80% view distance at 20-25 fps depending on the map and what I am looking at.
Smoke really doesn't lag me for some reason. Another thing is for some reason I run the game better at higher resolutions than at lower ones.
You should probably try to run some parameters on high or medium, to see how it works out.Fir3w411 wrote:I run the game full low (I'll post resolution later) with 80% view distance at 20-25 fps depending on the map and what I am looking at.

Although I don't have that computer anymore (specs on my page), I tried what you said when I did have it and no good results came of it.StevePl4y5 wrote:You should probably try to run some parameters on high or medium, to see how it works out.
