How about that... a proper explanation of why you disliked PR:Z.

Now, out of curiosity Matty, what's your in-game nickname or the nickname you used in the PR:Z server?

Cause I was in the server for the full duration of the Open Beta... so I'm wondering when you actually played for 2 hours and saw 7 guys up on the crane.

And now you're saying that you played 75-85% of that time as a zombie? That would be at least 1 and a half hours playing as zombie...

That seems weird since you can switch after being 20 minutes on the zombie team. So I guess you must have died by a zombie every time you spawned and walked away from the survivor's spawn locations. Damn, you're either extremely unlucky or you must really suck at surviving then... I now understand why you disliked your PR:Z experience.

I enjoyed playing this mod for the bit of time I played it for. It was very nice. Meaning i got both the DayZ Mod and Standalone but sadly don't have the money to upgrade to run those games as high as I would like. The reason I like this is because I can somewhat have that experience again. Being a survivor in a Simulator Mod. Which is just fabulous. But I don't like playing as a Zombie because to me it gets really annoying. I think there should be 2 servers. One where there is no Zombie team. And one with it. So that way people who don't like playing as a zombie don't need to. They can just respawn. That way everyone would win? Or maybe. we'll be able to host our own servers eventually. And then we might be able to have the option to have Zombie team on or off. (So only NPC Zombies) I think it should be like this because for the people who don't like playing as a zombie but only a survivor can have the fun without worrying about a player zombie that could be hacking. (If you can hack) somehow see them and just teleport and or go really fast to them without hesitation and ruin their fun. I can predict that this might happen in the future because of a noob.

You do not have to play as zombie... if you are able to survive without getting killed by one and are able to keep your humanity values up. The humanity system and its team-switcher were created to balance the pvp and give more value to your life, which is something that currently doesn't exist in DayZ.

So if you do become a zombie, you can either play as one or you can wait the 20 minutes of time-out as the penalty for being infected. The Survival "gamemode" will not be run without these settings in our public server. We do however run it differently on our Survival Games Event as it is a 1 life event and so the humanity system is not needed.

We will work on other gamemodes that will be focused only on survivors vs survivors.
