Right when .4 was released I played a lot as rifleman. As people said, it's kinda rewarding cause you really feel you are helping people. Although I don't really use this kit anymore...
I hardly ever play as a medic. I just don't reaaaally like it... I do when people ask me to, it's quite often, but I don't like it.
I like to play spec ops because of the pistol , grenade and binocs

Same for rifleman AP - I just found out how useful this class is. Few people use it (and I feel glad for it, so that there's more variety) but I just love it. You can always spot a guy with your binnocs, see wich way he's heading to, arm the claymores and "BOOOOM!"
Anyways, I just preffer classes that have grenades. I can't do without them, lol. Sometimes there's some enemy held up in a village house you can't possibily go in, so you just cook a grenade and blow'm up without really risking your self.

Yes, binocs and grenades really help. I haven't found much use for the clackers yet though. So I usually will go spec ops (even when MEC or PLA) just because of the superior accuracy.

I have to agree totaly - those benocs ROCK!!!!!!
It is on map like ......security ..... (jungle one) when you a defending the bridge that the benocs come in super handy for spotting enmies coming form the west (other side of the river) and South (down the road).
The problem with claaymores is that an AK can almost always do the job quickly, easier and more accurately!!!!

I am actually beginning to really like the heavy AT, or the light one if there aren't any tanks around, even more so than the spec ops...I just really like blowing stuff up I guess.

If you've got a rifleman, heavy AT is actually a very effective anti-infantry weapon.

Yes and quite fun!
Also the TOW is good stuff! I nailed a few grunts across the river on Dragon Valley who were hiding on the other side of a large rock from our armor. Muahaha!

A lot of SF because of more than just the M4, and in all factions.
Also - I am having something of a renaissance with the Grenadier, as
the bloop gun (grenade launcher) is great when you get it right...
I think the PR grenade launcher needs a proximity fuse, though -
so it doesn't go live until it has travelled a safe distance from the
firer - this also means much creativity can be engaged in with bouncing
grenades around corners and through buildings.

I think the GL has a fuse. I've hit several walls (trying to get a grenade through a window) and had the grenade bounce back to me...

this happens IRL (!)
it's just sometime I launch a grenade and it pops a little too close...
nothing like the sensitivity of the bloody AT kits though where you have to be like three meters clear of anything so you don't toast yourself... don't try to fire an AT rocket/missile through a window...

I think that if it hits a wall it shouldn't go off, because for it to blow up it has to spin x number of times IRL, if it bounces off something I doubt it would keep on going, but who knows, maybe engine limitations

Well in real life, unless your using an AT4 CS, you'd never fire a light AT weapon inside a building. Unless you like being toasted. Even with the confined spaces variant, you'd have to be more careful than you've got to be in game. AFAIK, the backblast in game won't kill someone behind you. IRL, it would. And you'd want to be more than three meters clear.
In order to remain recoilless, the AT4 has to throw out a mass*velocity of hot burning gas behind you equal to the mass*velocity of the rocket shooting out of the weapon. And that's a lot of hot, fast moving gas.
