I believe the BMPs are among the best apc/ifv ingame atm. If I would do something to BMP-2 it would be decrease amount of rounds fired before overheating to like 15-20 instead of 25 ( or just change the rate of fire) and make the turretspeed a bit faster, atm it's like it got bubblegum as lubricant.

Nah just decrease the accuracy a lot, like IRL if you use the fast fire mode.

I think mouse should be forbidden for controlling the turret, that would actually give the armor (at least BMP-2) a real mechanical feeling if using WASD. Maybe that way APCs would stop acting as tiny tanks and actually start helping the infantry close in.

But that is another discussion...

You don't need BMP-2M turret to be any faster; a faster turning combination of grenade, HE, AP(rotate HE and AP rounds = never overhead), and ATGM + high mobility = very bad day for BluFor.

It would be great IMO, anyone with an adjustable DPI mouse can avoid this already, so why not make easier for everyone else?

Because for everyone else they will have to turn down the sensitivity to make long-range aiming easy as it is currently.

in the normal apc i leave the same mouse sensitivity as the tank and is really accurate to hit targets behind the fog so the normal apc this never has been a issue.

in case the BMP-2 is the only apc i need to turn up more the sensitivity to be more faster and if i get another apc or a tank my aim is screwed up until i figure-it out and turn down.

Then your tank sensitivity is low.

That's why BMP-2's traverse sensitivity is fine.

It's not that difficult to change the sensitivity setting when you spawn in base to get new vehicle; you have plenty of time between getting into vehicle and gun warmup.

you get my post? if my actual sensitivity for the tank and apc is already low enough to be accurate in the bmp-2 even if i use all my mouse pad it will move just a little and i have to increase the sensitivity and screwed my sensitivity for the normal apcs and the tank, so no is not fine. that's cant be considering as a feature since it can be bypassed.

Yeah, so you press esc, go into options, and change sensitivity while driving out of base.

Is it that hard to change setting?
