This tutorial leads you through recreating a maps editor folder, however roads cannot be recreated from maps without an editor folder, you can only approximate, if you want to move a road then you'd have to paint over the 'colormap' part of the map and place a new spline to create that road in a new position.
Here's a picture of me biting of more than I can chew

That is true for the most part but I would say there are a few exceptions such as Sharqi Peninsula, Operation clean sweep and Gulf of Oman which might work well as intense dedicated infantry assault maps.
If both sides of the island were cappable and the MEC only had a light apc or a few Uaz's I could see this map working as an infantry focused island assault map.
If the attacking force had to attack from the far ends of both sides I could also see this map working, maybe even with a few light-medium APC's and armed transport vehicles.
This map might also work as an airborne/amphibious assault map a bit like a middle eastern, urban variant of operation barracuda.

I'll see what I can do. I will try making the editor files for road rage because it is really well designed and very unique!

The only editor files you should be bothering with is the GPO.con and the Layers.con, as per my Audit tut, which tbh your probably better off doing from scratch which means the editor can make them 100% as well. Doing any others is just for modifying the client files which you shouldn't be looking at doing as I mentioned before....
