For those who have crashed; we fixed it.

For most who have CTD'd; we fixed it.

Restarted the server due to admin talk and investigation along the lines of public relations. Might do more restarts for maintenance later.

Isnt it hosted on PRTA and that fact makes it a PRTA server?

Technically the US Candy Van server is on a PRTA server too... this whole server is a multifaceted thing haha, the physical box is under Wicca's name, the server license is under my name, and the Brenn4n signs the bills haha

So the EU server is no more PRTA than the US one. We might also be hosting new PRTA US servers off the same box, but that has yet to be officially announced/planned out.

Correction; a new additional box.

West coast, it caters to Australians/NZs, mainly Americans still giving the Euros a barely playable ping.

As an Australian, it's one of the better servers in terms of ping now!

There are a few good and bad things about the server. I will start with the good things.

Good
1. Almost always seeded. Offers playing time 24/7.
2. Always admins online when it's seeded.
3. It has a good infrastructure behind it.
4. There is potential to grow due to BlueDrake being able to promote.

Bad
1. Rules are unclear, and it takes long before they are enforced.
2. Huge lack of teamwork and overall skill.
3. Above average amount of griefers, spammers whom don't get kicked after multiple reports.

Result
When the round starts a normal briefing is almost impossible due to people spamming, talking 5 different languages and not stopping after asked to stop talking. Reports are most of the time ignored or they warn and people continue to spam with no kick after that. This is just an example of lack of enforcement.

During the round the amount of SL communications is poor. Besides that the overall skill is quite poor. I cannot remember when, but I lead a squad building mortars and AA. We offered supplies and build a few fire bases and we promoted the team to build them as well for 3 rounds. Yet there was nobody even intending to build a fire base. Maybe you guys want to accept new people, however the game may not suffer from it. People have to be responsive, teamwork orientated and supportive. Most of the time this is not the case.

Besides that behaviour of some administrators are not good for the server and teamwork as well. When you have admins doing crazy stuff with choppers for no reason, who will be an example then? Somebody has to set an example.

I hope that the group/clan that is responsible for the Free Candy Van server will make sure that teamwork will get better on this server and also the overall quality of the games.

A clear goal, policy and rule set are the best way to begin.
We are staying up!

That, my friend is just what happens at the night time for the server.

As you are aware, we are launching a EU server, recruiting EU admins. Cause usually it's me and Snap (who's from NZ) adminning the US server at night time.

P.M. me if you're interested in a EU Mod position.

Really appreciate the feedback, our server's grand opening has been postponed to next Friday where the website with all detailed information for anyone with questions will be up.

Again, appreciate the feedback, see you around hopefully. All other issues send me a private message.

+ We aren't keeping rules tight. We don't agree with the views that every single rule should be enforced. The rules are there, so are our admins, and so are our desire to keep everything casual.
