Civilian cars maybe, like the insurgents on Fallujah?

At M10 the Militia can make a hideout in the compound that is in their DOD. I think the DOD should be scaled back just a bit.

Yeah caches close to their DoD make it impossible for RFs to take out the hideouts. The barn cache just north of their DoD is one such case.

Any server statistics for insurgency available yet? Isn't the Russian amount of tickets (750!) too high? Whenever I played militia it felt like no matter how good we defended the Russians won anyway because they can barely run out of reinforcements.

And what was the ticket difference then? 400? 75?

I didn't play the map that much, but every time I did the Russians won with at least 150-200 tickets left and sometimes even more.

i dont play the map that much, but when i do if all of militia attack airport, it will only take a squad or two to get inside and hold it game over

Almost every time I've played Grozny the Russians got outcapped because of the Militia's city spawn point. Excellent map otherwise.

yeah on some routes that city spawn is really close to russians first flags. I will move that RP to the south and/or give russia a RP in the northern part of the city.

As some of you might have noticed there are two types of routes, one type with 4 flags and one with 6 flags. I'm interested in your opinions on the routes with 4 flags. Should I remove them, keep them the way they are or should I edit them by adding extra flags to increase total to 5-6? The problem I noticed sometimes is that no team seems to be able to cap the others (probably because the distance between the flags is too long).

Please post feedback about the map here.
remove binoculars from militia it gives them an incredible edge on this map, they get 3 scoped kits (spotter, sniper, marksman) as opposed to 2 of the russians (sniper, marksman) and also get binoculars WITH EVERY SINGLE KIT ,i cannot stress how big this is. you might say that the russians get a powerful sniper and a bunch of apcs but it's still not equal because 1.everything but the bmp2 can literally get killed by a 50 cal technical and 2. the militia gets a bmp1 and an spg techi or two which can kill the bmp2 with one well placed hits or two hits in any area.
now don't get me wrong i know its meant to be really hard for the russians to win but you have to remember this is a game so at the end of the day it has to be fun for both sides and you can help achieve that by balancing the teams

I like the map alternating between 4 and 6 flags. That means you will have a mixture of shorter and longer rounds.

The less flags also changes strategy. If you choose to be aggressive in your strategy, there is a higher risk and reward with only 4 flags.

Also, maps with 6 flags are more likely to have situations where no squads go for their second flag because everyone wants to rush the other flags. Having a 4 flag option reduces this chance.

On this map, there is a triplet of apartment buildings in which you cannot deploy a FOB inside.

Not sure if this is intended. I just really like building FOBs inside apartments.

I suggest removing the ATGM from the BMP-1.

To balance of course, it's a one shot kill to every russian apc. And I don't know if they had BMP-1s at all, read that they had a few T-62s and T-72s though.

Why does it need to be balanced? :D War is not symmetrical, plus BMP-1 ATGM is very slow and the missile gets unguided extremely easy.

they sure had armored vehicles. I watched a lot of pictures from the battle of grozny and I think I saw 0 T-62 tanks used by militia. I only saw T-72 used by militia. I didn't notice a single BMP-1 too, just the BMP-2.

I think devs should add BMP-2, T-72 too and BTR-60 for militia in Grozny. Not sure if they used BMP-1s and T-62s in other battles but I am sure those weren't used in the battle of Grozny.

http://www.360doc.com/content/12/0325/0 ... 7810.shtml tell me if you see T-62 wreck or BMP-1 wreck? :o

Not really sure why it's not possible, only thing I can think of is too bumpy terrain beneath the buildings. I'll check.

They sure used bmp-1's, apart from captured vehicles in the first war they already had some that the russians left behind in 1992.
In June 1992 the Russian authorities withdrew all Russian defense personnel and their families from Chechnya. Almost all the arms and military equipment of Russian army units in Chechnya were left behind. This included, according to semi-official estimates: 42 tanks (T-62M and T-72); 66 armored combat vehicles (ACVs) - BMP-1, BMP-2, BTP-70, BRDM-2; 30 122mm towed howitzers D-30; 58 120mm PM-38 mortars; 18 B-21 Grad MRLs; 523 RPG-7 anti-tank grenade launchers and 77 ATGW (Concurs, Fagot and Metis); 18,832 AK-74, 9307 AK-47 (AKM), 533 sniper rifles, 1160 machine-guns; 4 ZCU-23-4 Shilka, 6 ZU-23 and an unspecified number of Igla portable SAMs; 152 Czech-made L-39 trainer-bomber jets, 94 L-29, several Mig-15, Mig-17, An-2 airplanes and 2 Mi-8 helicopters.

Anyway, For 1.4 I plan to add more heavy vehicles, if not for both sides, atleast for russians :)

Thanks for the feedback guys!

Were Russians completely high on speed or what? "YES LET'S LEAVE ALL OUR SHIT HERE FOR MILITANTS. WE PROBABLY WON'T NEED THESE."
