I suggest you quit drinking - the SAW is deadly accurate....even when standing
No recoil at all..

Since the end of November, I've played support for 42 minutes and gotten 26 kills. I think it's not a bad weapon. Only problem is that you have to be SOOOO close when using it. It's effective for alleyway fighting. But then it's too easy for someone to get the drop on you. I'd like to see its effective range extended a bit.

I believe the support gun is meant to do SUPRESSING FIRE
As in, keeping the enemy down and under fire until your teammates has flanked the enemy.
The recoil should be way more aggresive when not prone.
And imo, its fine as it is when in prone.

It was catastrophic in .32 - lets not go back there :P

Yes it is meant for suppressing fire. But unfortunately most people playing these days would rather pop up and start shooting than actually be pinned down. And because of the recoil, when they do this it actually works sometimes! With any other guy you'd take them out as soon as the exposed themselves (unless they had an M4 of course, in which case you'd be dead before you even knew they had popped up).

Suppressive fire is only suppressive when they have to *stay* down to survive.

Honestly, putting the support weapon back to 0.32 levels would be fine. It's a limited kit now, so it's not going to be like the m4 kit is now. Plus, you can't prone spam with it since it has a fire delay...

Once you guys sort out the smoothing of the ADS animation with the LMG's/Sniper rifles, you should implement it to all small arms weapons. Not just LMG's and Sniper rifles. That'd be cool.
