One of the main reasons we call terrorist "terrorist" is because one of their main goals is to install a fear into others who arnt terrorist... I dont see America being a terrorist nation. Yes, America does have terrorist in it, mostly Sleeper Cells as refered to on the News, but same as all the other countries in the world... Right now I think America's biggest problem with terrorist in America is all the Rapist, Murders... But all in all, I think we can also consider them terrorist, so yes, America does have a terrorism problem. And even though I'm a strong patriot for America, I still dont agree with some of the decisions made in the past, but everyone is entitled to thier own opinion, so lets not have a massive blow out over this.

Not really, the L86 is just a diffrent version of the common infantry british weapon, if im correct, the brits use the M249 or M240.eddie wrote:DEV Eddie- i thought the British Support weapon was the L86 LSW? anyways, i would like to see that in there for the brits.

The L86 Light Support Weapon was the standard fire-team automatic rifle, filling the role that the M249 SAW does in US forces. Since it was not much use as a base of fire weapon, they started phasing it out with the L110A1 (FN Minimi-Para) just in time for Afghanistan. There are probably a few still hanging around, though.Tactical Advantage wrote:Not really, the L86 is just a diffrent version of the common infantry british weapon, if im correct, the brits use the M249 or M240.eddie wrote:DEV Eddie- i thought the British Support weapon was the L86 LSW? anyways, i would like to see that in there for the brits.

The L7 GPMG is a platoon level support weapon (L86 and L110A1 are fire-team and section-level weapons), either found in the maneuver support section of a rifle platoon or a machinegun platoon in an infantry battalion.

Ive fired the L86 and the L85. Quite literally if you keep your aim steady the gun wil hit the same place. Many a time our groupings had 2-3 bullets going through the same hole.
Only problem is though they jam up allot. They were cleaned before and after use. The guys on the range who assisted with any problems all had screwdrivers in there pocket
and i would say at least every time on the range it would jam.
The General purpose (GP) single fire one was by far the worst, jammed all the time. its the same rifle but without the gas parts but who knows.
Just like to say also that all the rifles i saw had a scope on the top so i dont think the iron sighted model should be left without one.
