Man I’ve been a huge proponent of 2 map map votes for the longest time. It just makes sense to me. Yet I always get a lot of pushback and complaints. But to be fair, people complain about votes and maps no matter what you try.

People are idiots. They dont get that 2 Asset Deserts Maps + 1 Forest Infantry Map in the same vote adds weight to the infantry map.

But I also wouldnt mind a pre-set and -announced map list. Would also allow themed evenings

I got to say, "playing next" every time a team starts to win is pretty bullshit.

I'm not staying on any server that does that.

I thirst for true democracy, where a 3 map vote will have a second round of winner vs runner up.

Takes too much time in practice. And people generally vote a lot less the 2nd time, as they dont really give attention to that anymore, once they voted for a map already, unless it was a general non-map vote (eg. aas ins)

In which case the maps in the vote should be categorized into 2K Urban, 2K Forest, 4K Desert, 4K Forest or something. If admins put Khami - Kashan - Beirut they might as well just set Beirut instead of having a vote.

I don't know why you would even mention that because we haven't done a mixed 2k and 4k vote since we launched.

Voting STD - ALT - INF on khami counts as one of those in my book.

I have never shit posted about a server but my very first impression I got playing here is that this one is fucking garbage. First time I ever join I get kicked without warning 1 minute in after joining the trans squad. No warning and no message regarding the kick, also the server was 75/100. Okay, I join back make an AAV squad take a Tunguska with some smurf in cas squad riding shotgun bitching to me about something but his voice is too low for me to hear him, I was in my rights as the rules only state tank squads claim AAVs and there were no tanks squads so those assets are available. I then get kicked and now can't rejoin the server saying my steam account needs to be higher.

You people don't even know your own rules about asset claiming. My very first time playing on this server and 2 minutes into this server and I'm already hit by a random kick and then complete admin abuse. Hope your server becomes a ghost town.

Thank you very much for these kind words, unfortunately the PR master server was being very unreliable tonight and people got randomly kicked and couldn't join back. No fault of ours or yours, it wasn't as personal as you think. Hope you have a better experience on our server in the future

Don't run next mid game because some people didn't get the asset like today on Falklands. If you make vote then you should cope with its result. I rate my gaming experience 1,5/10.

The runnext you did resulted in your server exploding anyway.

Thank you for your input but we ran next because Argentina couldn't build any fobs, it's very sad you had a bad gaming experience but we didn't want the same for the other 97 people. So we ran next.

Dear Lipoto,
I write this today with a heavy heart. My beloved PR has finally become too toxic to play. I joined Gamma Group today hoping things would be better. Sadly, they have not. Whether it is a toxic player running around screaming insults at everyone, admins TKing me in main, or utter negligence towards gameplay in general, my hopes have sunk and my frustration has peaked. There once was a time when admins were leaders; leading through positive actions, motivated by strategy and desire to win. Now, admins will TK each other and TK players, and because they have all the power of being an administrator, players have no recourse.
"Its only a game bro" is what admin EngineerCZ told me after he TKed me in main on Qwai. "Chill out bro" This is the latest, but not the first time this has happened.
Is this the type of leadership Gamma admins represent?
Is it okay for admins to do as they please, whenever they want, because there are no consequences for them?
When I report a player for breaking rules, it is me (and not the player) who gets warned?
Fortunately, I have been recording video, taking screenshots, and compiling data to not only expose the immaturity and lack of discretion by the admins on Gamma and FCV, but I am preparing to present them to the DEVS (who I know actually care about the integrity of the game).
Furthermore, the game (especially on Gamma and FCV) have become increasingly "clique" oriented. If you don't have a TZ, ic, GC, or e-Rekt clan tag, sorry but you are not part of the "club". When you are in the "club" this means you can TK whoever and whenever you want, steal claimed assets, kick or temp-ban players at will without justification, warn players indiscriminately for whatever you feel like, and even sabotage their own teams game: all without any consequences. (Yes, I have been witness to all of these AND have proof).
I know Lipoto wants to run a clean and fun server with inclusive and fair gameplay. I know he wants players to not only have fun, but have new players learn from veterans, use strategy and tactics, and create a fair and equitable gameplay environment. Unfortunately, Gamma and FCV are not the servers for this.
I look forward to presenting my data, videos, and screenshots to the DEVS and show them what has become of their beloved game.

I'm sorry to inform you but we're not in control of toxic players, if they say or do something offensive you can always report them, as you've mentioned later in your post you're recording everything, so why not record the player or admin who is behaving in a reprehensible way and report the player/admin on our forums? Or is it that you want us to mindlessly ban everyone who gets reported without any proof whatsoever?
As for the "utter negligence towards gameplay", almost all of today's games on Gamma Group ended in a ticket difference of less than 100, you can check the trackers here, two games even ended on 0:11 and 16:0 tickets. Actually today balance was even better than on most days, so I wish you explained better what you mean by "utter negligence towards gameplay" because you're saying this as if we don't enforce the rules, don't react to reports and don't balance teams, all of which we do and did today aswell. Post any relevant videos because I really am curious what you think is the real problem here.

Again, I've never seen a report from you on our forums yet you seem to be saying that this happens often. Do you want us to ban people based on reports without any proof and just apologize afterwards if the report was false? Post your footage and it will be dealt with accordingly, but your message comes off as if you've been building up anger without ever even considering talking about it with the people running the server.

Can you present them to the rest of us aswell? Doesn't it seem a bit unfair to you to start bothering developers without letting us deal with admin misgivings ourselves?

I'm very sorry that you don't feel included but again, not a single report of these misgivings you're just storing it to release an epic documentary of your PR suffering.

I do want those things, I don't know why you would assume that though because we never had a conversation before. I look forward to seeing your data, videos and screenshots if you will kindly post them publicly.
