...Im not sure it would be best to situate maps in iraqi is a good idea. The conflict is both highly aysmetric and controversial. As others have said, perhaps it would be best to situate the mod in a ficticious conflict. Where not so very many people have died so recently?

i disagree, i understand your point scribble but it would make it alot more interesting with RL based mods, this is afterall a real life based game/mod?

thanks for the compliment beckwith' :D I like playing in the desert enviroment but jungle maps (if there done right) would be f*cking brilliant. plus it might widen PRs appeal, alot of gamers will be attracted by a jungle campaign. of course i know alot of people here love desert maps to death so there would probably be more emphasis on the desert, but its nice to have a few maps that r differnt lol.

lets not forget that the middle parts of iraq are supposedly almost tropical, with falm trees and such

I'm not a big fan of situational maps. While it is cool to live out real world happenings within the game, I donâ$™t find it fun trying to be the â$œunderdogâ$ for hours on end. Or even on the side with an advantage, it's just not fun. Iâ$™m more into balance maps/weapons and having the team with the best teamwork winning.
