No you do not keep both eyes open when you're on the rifle, that's what your spotter is for. Your only focus is on the shot with your dominant eye on the scope.
what about without a spotter, or hunting?

edit:
DMR rifles should have blur, after all 80% of the screen is black, sniper barely has any black in comparison and doesnt really need it.

You have to test them at multiple resolutions. But yeah .. would love some improved scope reticules... just keep in mind that they can look very different at 8x6 vs 16x12.

jw, do mine look even close to a real scope zoom, or good enough to use in-game. dunno why but making scopes is fun :P

yeah, I was thinking 1px lines at 800x600, the minimum resolution.

also, I was thinking, they don't have to point at the centre, maybe the scopes could be calibrated to hit targets at 200m or something. So shorter distances it hits above, at 200m or whatever the scope is zeroed in at, it hits on the crosshair, would this be a good idea?
