Original or current PR?
The Current PR one is the HK53. Which does exist.
However, the original which while it claims to be an AKS-74U it is infact not, as the model has a milled reciver rather than a stamped one.
So one could argue that it dosent exist in RL. Or that its simply an inaccurate model.

Actual AKS-74U
BF2 "AKS-74U"
Please note:
1. The older (pre AKM) milled reciver style of the BF2 model. Compare this to the later (AKM onward) stamped reciver of the real AKS-74U. In addition, the RS AKS-74U has a shorter reciver than the rest of the AK series, also not reflected in the DICE model.
2. The overly short gas tube above the barrel of the BF2 model.
The closest thing to the BF2 model in real life is the Tokyo Marui AK-47 Spetsnaz, which like the BF2 model is styled after the AKS-74UN, but is infact not due to very similar innaccuracies.
TM AK-47 Spetsnaz
And I'm fully aware of what the model is supposed to be of, an AKS-74UN fitted with a Cobra reflex sight.
In conclusion, it is not an AKS-74U or at best it an exeptionally poor model of one. Which is what I stated in the first place.
Counter-pwnt.

lol, so the bf2 modelers used an airsoft gun for their refrence
off topic, but i love looking at popular graphic design work when its obvious that these profesional motherfuckers used google stock images

i figured it was becasue of DICE's (and thus the majority of the bf2 communits) standpoint that every team that is not the USA is poor and stupid
