I think most of the new people now are idiots and don't want to learn. You try to tell them how to play and they do not want to hear it or try it. Now this is not all new people, but the greater majority right now.


see these screen shots, the kid didnt want to spawn on SL so he was driving around spawn cars, we put him up for kick vote, he gets mad and now blows up every spawn car!!!!

This, was of course, on Devile. Some kid named Elite07 or something like that. Its the bad attitudes of the new kids that sucks. I've played with some noobie adults and they had a great time and learned within 2 rounds.

I aint dancing round no bloody flag & I love newcomers.

To be honest, I often get strokes from playing with newbs.

when i was a new i read the guide that came with Down Load and i didnt just go into a server and fuck it up for everybody. 3/4 of you guys dont read the guid that came with the game and i you just go in a server and sit in a vehicle that you cant drive and wast ammo untill you die. or make a squad and have no idea about officer kits or anything in general.

not all new guys are bad just the ones that were to antzy to read the guid and screw up the game.

Whenever some1 asks for help I am always ready and willing to help. Except when I hear "How do I fly the chopper?" or "What the hell is a pilot kit"

OR the infamous, "How do I get the Pilot Kit?!"

I played with a kid tnight (Sgt. Scream )or sumthing like that. We played two long rounds on Devfile AL Bas. and he was great.......I was suprised to find out it was his firt day playing. Som the steryotyplical noob he was not.

Its not this community particularly, its all communities. I am from the Baby Boomer generation (yea..that old) so I have seen it all, the Lost Generation, Generation X...Y... and Z. What you are talking about is just a by-product of the current generation, Generation Jackass.

On the iGi server we always try and help the new players. In fact of late when more than one squad full of iGis are on we have been splitting up and having newer players in the squads to show them the ropes.

But what really annoys me, is when a new players asks a question, I answer, then he asks the same question again, I answer again, then he asks a third time, but in capitals this time. That begins to piss me off. Why ask a question if you don't wait for the answer?

Not me, if someone asks if they can fly I let them. But I usually fly the Cobra straight for 10-20 mins and as soon as they go they crash and say "Ok you fly" haha...

As to the whole n00b/newb debate, I take each individual as I find them. If someone joins my squad and follows my orders I'll answer any question they ask, and even take time out later to form a two-man squad to walk them through.

If they come in with a know-it-all attitude and start questioning my tactics I suggest that they form their own squad and prove me wrong.

If they lonewolf it and don't listen to orders I kick them from the squad.

As to n00bs/newbs on here, you can generally tell if they are one or the other by their first post. (Scrolls back to first post to check). Hmmmm.
