Something completely unrelated to anything. :-P

An Ipod Nano.

I wanted to take a break from the gun tutorial, and did my own little thing.

The same Ipod with reflective materials and Vray renderer.

Edit: Better renders. I plan on giving this away, if anyone is interested.

If anyone is new to modeling, this would be good to look at, especially for the materials.

An Ipod Nano with wheels! OMG! LOL and all that.
Honestly, I think even I might have been able to pull off the iPOD thingie...
Now the wheel however... I think you need a tire to go with the rim ;)

starting off with a gun is a bad idea... start with something simple.. i did a wheelie bin to start of with, do a house or soemthing afterwards so you get used to scaling things correctly and doing UV maps and textures,

One day I'll teach myself Blender enough to do lil' daylies like these: http://www.boring3d.com/daily_archive.htm

Then again, they might not be daylies for a beginner. The guy worked on Shrek :)

hehe, well modeling cars is REALLY hard, there are tutorials I can barely understand. Ill send you a PM.

So should I try to just model a house first instead of trying to do the whole car thing? I have seen the tutorials for the cars, and all of them are really complicated.

Talesh Mountains? :-P Yeah, that map was going good until that stupid invisible terrain. I read about a similar problem on the forums, and the guy got it working, but for now I want to try to model. I don't feel so restricted in what I do.
