Well, the MEC dont need an MG3, theyre already getting a scope for their G3s, do we really need to give what should be a poor armed force one of the best machine guns in the world?

You mean well trained, funded and equipped armed force.

And yes, we do.

Trained by who, funded by who?

if you can answer me that, youll win a night with Joan Rivers.

Trained by a country in an area with a rich military history and funded by a £$%$ load of oil? Those reverse engineered helicopters and high quality German rifles don't produce or buy themselves... But I'll leave the full details for Bob as it seems to be his job to inform people of these kinds of things (Plus I don't really know them in the first place). Do it squaddie!

As for a couple of earlier posts I think the reason that the G3 was brought up was for the idea of using it as a mounted gun/part of an MG team, not too sure if it would be operational by 1 man, another question for Bob eh?

I look forward to hearing the explination of an army that doesnt exist.

Well several oil rich middle eastern countries, that all have a very militaristic history, have being mentioned that use H&K and or reproductions of them, and the army on the game is clearly related to these otherwise they'd only be as well equipped as the Insurgents.

Well, we can agree that the MEC is the combined forces of the vairous nations of the middle east, right? Well, if thats so there are several Oil rich nations in the region and also a good deal of military equipment. Now, Oil revenues, combined with selling off the equipment they already had inorder to standardise on the equipment they have in the game, gives them a rather large amount of capital to play around with. Now, many of the militaries in the region already have high standards of training and theres no reason that said troops could not be used to train those from other units of less well trained nations. Also, with all that lovely Oil money floating about, there'd probubly be a que of PMCs a mile long just itching to get a major contract training MEC armed forces.

I forefit the prize.

But which units are you referring to that have a "high standard of military training", what would you class as a high standard of training?

Im not saying this to cause arguments, im just interested.

I think its just a generalised comment to do with all rich Islamic Middle Eastern countries. I don't know what exactly you could deem a "high standard" of training though. He's right about the PMCs though although I wouldn't of thought that any of the richer Middle Eastern countries really need any outside help training up a large scale armed force.

Back on subject what do people think of an MG3 for a mounted gun and replacing British, American and Chinese mounted weapons for something heavier?
