Well we were just in on sabotage, we went in to get an ammunition dump at ...Trumly?.... and we got it. Did she ever go with a bunch of sparks too. But its right on the water, its a fort. Old, old fort.

Question- so the only purpose in attacking Trumily was to destroy the ammo

Answere- destroy the ammo. You see it was defending the whole of the east coast of Italy. It was the main ammunition dump on the east coast of Italy. And it was costing us a lot of men, because we needed the east coast of Italy to bring our ships in, they got some good ports along there like .?.Vallee.?. We lost an Ammo ship there at .?.Vallee.?. , It blew up right at dock. Pretty well wiped the town right out. But we had to get ride of those ports or the ammo, so

Question- So there was only a small patrol went in....

Answere- yeah, there was only about 7 of us, I think, and we dropped, we jumped.

On 5 December 1941, these reinforcements attacked the German lines around Moscow, supported by new T-34 tanks and Katyusha rocket launchers. The new Soviet troops were prepared for winter warfare, and they included several ski battalions. I am not a history teacher or anything, but I think the fifth of December predates the US involvement....... that would mean that before the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor the Germans had lost the initiative and were losing ground.............. now where were those pesky Wermacht saboteurs blowing up Soviet assets ?
You don't mean to include the Kriegsmarine and the wolfpaks in your definition of saboteur do you ?

Well, we could just say that if the Soviets weren't involved in WW2 then the Allies might not have secured a bridgehead in Normandy, nor drive the Axis out of Italy, or even out of North Africa. They kept the Axis, and a whole lot of their troops, busy for about 4 to 5 years AND pushed them back, all they had to do was to get their industry in gear to produce tanks and other assets in the tens of thousands. Besides, how moral is it to deny the role in the war of 20 million dead? And yes, 20, not 2.
EDIT: forgot to post on topic...
I support sabotage as long as just a few people do it, and by that I mean 2 or at most 3 and not the whole team. If they keeps us busy enough for the rest of their team to cap the flags then they deserve to be congratulated.
EDIT 2: WW2 was won by the ALLIES, not a particular nation. If one of the Allies had not been involved then the outcome might have been different.

LMAO. Sorry guys, but Armed is very much right. The Soviets made the single greatest impact of any country on the outcome of WWII. Barbarossa was Hitler's biggest mistake. Had Hitler only been fighting on one front, he'd have invaded England, and who knows what after.

In that case you could also say that the English Channel and Britain behind it made the biggest impact. As it stood as an impracticable thorn in the west, making it impossible for Hitler to concentrate on the East.

WWII Death Estimates:

USA: 300,000 (this is low however, I'm pretty sure there were 500,000 military deaths)

Brittain: 450,000

Germany: 5 million

Japan: 3.2 million

China: 10.5 million

USSR: 20 MILLION! (10 million military deaths)

I realize deaths doesn't equal war contribution, but the point is that they're on a whole different scale.
