I only had to change the port one time and I'm done with it. In fact, everytime I do a clean install on any computer I have, all I have to do is go to my router's page and copy paste the port and I'm done. It's a once in a life time thing :p

...like anything, it takes a lot of tutorial reading to get it mastered.

I took a random port that I've forwarded. Used to work wonders..but for some reasons the stupid port is not open anymore...I'm pretty sure im doing something bad in my port forwarding stuff..but I dont know. I just dont get how to set that POS router with that stupid Dynamic IP adress.

Model: D-Link DI-614+
Er, if you're gonna forward a port, you better set the destination machine to a static IP address. In Windows XP, this can be done by going to Control panel > Network Connections > [your current connection] > (right click) properties, selecting TCP/IP and clicking on the properties button. I'm sure you can find a more detailed tutorial on the web.

Thanks.
Chose a port above 50000 and managed to get it working. Its unlocked now and accepting connections. I've also just enabled forced encryption.
Oh and on your screenshot :P the little canadian flag in the peers list...its me :P

Speed still not stable tho..managed to go up to 70 and now im down to 35

Just go to that site and find the name of your router and look for µTorrent. This way, it will give you 101 instructions on your specific router and how to forward it.

I thought it was eggman LOL..

Yeah well...the problem is..my ISP sucks bigtime..and so does the techsupport. When I bought this PC and had to set up my router...i've called 'em and asked for help. Obvsly...they had major problem setting me through...cuz I bet they were as clueless as I was (or atleast they seemed). Anyway...after 45 mins I was done...well I thought i was... Now I've been stuck for 4 years with a slow DSL provider, a broken internet that keeps D/Cing every now and then when it feels like it and over the top shitty download speed (hell...im using DSL and I get like un-stable 30kps when im not using a download accelerator). I was supposed to change last year...but hey..they re-newed the contract without telling us...hopefully its ending in september, and I'll switch over to cable. I cant stand this POS provider anymore...its a complete rip-off. 4 years later and roughly 3 modems broken (i have the tendency to punch my modem when it dies...yes im that pissed with this provider) im really due for an ISP change.

Anyhoo...lets get to the fact that led to this wonderful story...when I go there....its says im disconnected from my provider...and infact im able to acess internet...its that messed up. Thanks for helping anyways...I guess there is no possible solutions but change ISP. And I still have a shitty torrent download rate :(

If someone has finished the 0607 beta download, can you upload on some sites (filefront etc), and post a direct link?
In fact, the devs should upload and post a direct link in the first place, and not only torrent..

(How long does it take to upload on a site?)

Correction, one seed....I though I counted more then one in this thread that said they were seeding. At this pace it won't be for tonight.

Hmm I did just see it go to 700 kB/sec now, never even seen that high!? with one seed lol. At this kind of speed a forty min wait :) !
