Just an update, eggman contacted the team and it's looking pretty good that PR will get carte blanche to use what they want from RC. On a sidenote if the PR team wants me to put back my weapons code (which was considered "too realistic" for RC ) just let me know.

Nice work Lang!
Now work your magic to get assets for the Canadians from another mod.
I'm giddy with excitement over the idea of an Israeli faction.

All I did with Rising Conflicts and DCX was weapons code and vehicles/aircraft tweaking. Not really a full-fledged coder. Just a hack who knows how a weapon should handle from years of experience.

I wish I could help out with the skinning, but I can't since I'll be going up to school in Vermont later next week

So I gotta finish up all the other skins I'm working on.

It was explained in this thread that the RC devs are considering donating the content to PR already, thats why we[ I ] did not contact them yet as Lang had a word with them.
It was explained in this thread, perhaps you missed a post
Anyhow, I sent the task to reskin EU Soldiers to a friend, he said he'll get it done in the weekend - not sure if anything good will come out of it but its a worthy shot

Only update I can provide is that I started working on a map

and my friend started working on the IDF reskins.
Other then that, we gotta wait for RC's decision on the content's future.

The Merkava doesn't look to good.I'd prefer it in a sort of green color.Like the ones I've seen in real life

I'd like to see a Israeli faction, lived there for a couple of years, but you might want to wait until people are finished other projects so you can get a good team together.

Horrible texture on that Merkava

Keep it a faded olive green.

Hehe, I'd like to reskin the IDF uniform aswell - they are supposed to be more green/yellowish, right now they're pretty dark.
But the thing is..nobody is willing to reskin the uniform, let alone the tank and we haven't even gotten permission to use them yet.
but you might want to wait until people are finished other projects so you can get a good team together.
Thats what I intend to do, but at the start of October I'm joining the army so I'm doubtful I'll manage to organize it.

Yeah, wait for everyone else to finish up, then take it from there. At least you'll have something to do on your free time
Appoint someone
de facto project leader, and just watch from the shadows as your master plan take form.
