CDU--i used to respect them and enjoy their server. that's a shame they had to take the 3rd grade route on this.
i like the teamwork.

I like the drawn out, combined-arms fights. You teamwork or you lose in those situations and I try not to lose too often.

I really like how bad guys cannot spawn on flags anymore. I hated killing a guy right before I got within the flag radius, knowing that he would be back probably just before I can make the flag white. Bravo on the spawn system devs! I also like the fact that people use the VOIP system, makes matches 10 times better.

I play this mod not as a buyer of BF2, not as a player of mods, but as a gamer who shares a common interest in realism, teamwork, trust, and the glory of getting the job done right with other players.

To all of the good players who play well and to all the Devs who worked hard to make it all possible.

I would hang out at a bar with most of the PR players I've squadded up with. Sharing stories and slugging pints. I can't really say that about any other game.

You got him, and I threw an ammo bag to you to finish him off, but he caught on to us. Next thing I knew, enemy tank is all I can see. I thought, maybe if I stay prone I can slide between the tracks and maybe I'll only get wounded. So I started lining myself up, then BOOM!!! End of that joker. It was crazy, agghhhh... but I remember you saying "beautiful" and it truly was, you're right we wooped.
Where did that friendly tank come from (by the way, we owe him a few cold ones)? I guess we were so engulfed with dancing with that enemy tank coming to run over our heads, I didn't realize we had a friendly tank creeping up to save us. That was something that, you had to be there to really understand what we experienced. Total immersion.
cya on the battlefield.
Good times. You did exactly what a rifleman should, watch my back and supply me with ammo. It's not a glamorous role but it's an essential one, and you played it perfectly. Well done mate. See you out there...

I love the Fact that its free, I love the Fact the developers are dedicated to making this how the Fans want it to be.
The teamPlay that is involved is amazing, and i agree with a few posts that this is what does it for me ! - but the team play also makes some very Tactical, and Very cinematic scenes that no other Game could ever have ( at least not yet anyway )
love seeing the battle field above in my Chopper, seeing the urgency of team mates to evac from a HOT Zone under heavy fire, Flying off into the distance to Counter attack - then seeing your Evac-d Team mates Go in, organised, and feed the enemy some Hot Lead.
The feeling you get when running through the forests on your own as specops, trying to out flank a squad / Apc / to get close and personal or to Destroy some enemy valuable assets.
So i'd say its all about the teamwork, and the urgency of wanting to wipe the other team off the map without losing your own life.
Dammit, PR Feckin ROCKS
Keep up the good work Guys.

I just got into vBF from PR and it was crazy. I couldn't even get a plane!!! Glad those things require a kit and the spawn times are amped, that makes sure only the people who genuinely want the bird get it.

I played as a .607 commander for the first time the other night. My in-game name is <S8> Viper. So we were the US, it was tough establishing both beach heads...finally we did it. Our chopper transport was truely excellent. Finally we dug in a defended long enough for our commando squad to take the dam. It was a back and forth battle, finally we got our chopper in gear and picked up some squads that were pinned down. I made a mad dash with the supply truck and got from east to dam, then built a firebase. The chopper went to work and brought all our squads up top and we just worked them over. In the end it was amazing to see so much flippin teamwork. All the squads listened and reacted, as well as helped out a newer commander with advice. It was like playing chess...finally we had our entire team working and defending the dam and the hills above it. The best gaming experience I've had yet, very very fun.
