failed PS3??? as someone who owns a PS3 and an xbox 360 (and there's a Wii in the house), i am starting to lean towards the PS3 as the best system. the xbox 360 is good, but it has some quality control issues, some systems without an HDD, and no blu-ray (the HD-DVD format wont be used for very many games, if any at all on the 360). the PS3 is a really nice piece of equipment, and there's some really sick looking games coming out. PCs for FPS...consoles for sports games and single player shit.vanity wrote:Obviously I'm just speculating, but I think that despite all the great graphics, Crysis will suck.
It'll probably be cool for people new to gaming or younger teens, but after playing intelligent shooters I believe it'll be a pretty looking piece of garbage. Look at Insurgency. It's nothing but putting lipstick on a pig.
I'm hoping Sony's failed PS3 sends a big message to developers in the future. Your fancy graphics and nextgen engines are worthless if your game sucks.
dont underestimate the PS3...
of course, i am going to be playing all pro football 2k8 on xbox live in one week, baby!
as for the engine that the devs go to...i dont care. i will follow wherever they go, upgrading where necessary.
