with the new civvy addition the chopper was not as powerful as they where on basrah in .5 as its to easy to 1, mistake a civvy for an insurgant and 2, if civvys and insurgants are grouped up you cant open up on them or you will kill both of them.

If civilians and insurgents are grouped a sniper rifle can fix that.

Unless...maybe...the civilian just happens to notice the sniper take the shot, everything goes slow-mo, the civilian attempts to jump in the way of the round and succeeds taking the hit for himself and sacrificing himself for Allah, and at the same time he was the only one who saw the sniper while no one else did and the sniper receives the penalty but redeems it by killing off the squad of insurgents that were standing there. *gasp*

I'm one of those good pilots that does backup infantry and his whole team.Though (me and every other skilled pilot feel the same way) it hurts me so too see noobie pilots use the power of those beatiful birds in stupid manners... But! Hopefully PR can fix this issue with the Apache in a patch/hotfix Soon,cuz no offense,love New Al Basrah tons,but driving a warrior/heavy truck/land rover/merlin around looking for weapon caches,and getting engaged here and there gets boring.The attack heli's is what made v0.5 Basrah fun for me,and does same in v0.6,but it's not there...Oh,and you just need a good gunner on that 60cal. chaingun on Apache to not kill some civ. ,but if they're cluttered up with insurgents,the gun makes too much of an explosion type effect soo...Bye Bye...

For your information, Apache holds 30mm chain-gun under it's nose. Not .60 cal. RPM around 650, effective range averaging 1000-1200m - in theory 6 clicks. It's a tricky gun, but a good one.

Ahh,well that's even better.And yes hopefully we will be able to fly together.That thing would make finding weapon caches a lot easier.
