I'm working with the DEV's to work out all the kinks.

oh I suppose the only time I have had issues with TKs is from insurgents stupidly throwing molotovs. Can't remember what the map is called again with the gate USMC have to destroy but generally it's a huge issue there :)

Desert Storm. On insurgent maps, biggest issue is people killing civilians

Something I've been experiencing lately is some "experienced" SL's assuming everyone is a noob and kicking them out of their squad as soon as they deviate from the plan even a LITTLE bit or make a single mistake, regardless of why. For example, I was told to hide our squad's APC close to an uncapped flag for spawning purposes, which I did. However, as soon as I jumped out, someone from another squad ran over, jumped in and drove it away (after almost running me over), followed by me being kicked from the squad. The round had just started but apparently I was a hopeless idiot that couldnt handle the 'leet' squad.

Another usual assumption is that if you don't have VOIP then you don't have ears, either. I choose not to use VOIP because of my living arrangements but I'm still 100% committed to my squad and completing the objectives.

Don't assume!

I'm sorry DrDNA, but you might look back on this and laugh about it. Cause I am. How unlucky can you get? :D

I do agree on your point. Don't assume.

I did one REALLY major bo-bo once. Told everybody to form up on me. One after one they came in. And this one guy who had been doing everything else, cept following orders, had been warned that the next order you didn't follow - "I will dropkick you out of the squad".

I did a quick count, didn't see him and kicked him of the squad. "*Cough-cough* eeehm, Clavdivs? He is standing right behind you".

And so he was. I tell you I turned into a nice shade of pink right then. Got him back in the squad and apologized 10 times.

There is some things that are frustrating. Like yesterday I walked half way across a map (forgot its name) with a heavy at kit. I ways going to take out a tank that was keeping our team from capping a flag. I was almost in position to kill the tank when I got tked. Its times like those when I have to stop, have a smoke, then play VBF2. Just to screw a round for a while.

Oh, I know that one! Now that will make you hostile. :D Myself, I only had a Light RPG in Seven gates, and the riflemen REFUSED to drop ammo. So I had to kill the APC, run like a scared child to the wreck, rearm, rinse and repeat.

Reminds me of yesterday again, on Zatar with daranz. We encountered some kill happy snipers going to our main to base camp, so we supressed the lil **** with AA guns, then daranz goes around, while I keep shooting at the guy to keep his head down. And just as daranz gets to him and has his knife out to slice the *******, he gets TK'd by the trigger happy fella, who followed behind.

That's the magic of it, no matter what you are doing, about 120 sec's later you can do it again..

I can only play about five servers, because of ping issues and therefore it is a good thing, that the iGi server is back, up or whatever, until now it is the server with the lowest idiot-rate in relation to the servers I played on.

this is an interesting point and fuzz showed me a simple solution.. just ask the person to use page up or page down to respond.. its quick and efficient, you jusy phrase eveything as a yes or no question and its very easy for them to keep communicating...and far superior to typing...

Should always be able to have headset and LISTEN to VOIP, just not talk. I wish more people did that :p

Good point, sometimes less is more. Some people equate lots talking and orders with sucess. You can have too much talking and too many orders is confusing.

I think voip should give some 3p noise at close quarters so people realise the advantages of silence
