Leo, regarding your question about ram:
Depends if your motherboard supports dual channel (i guess so). If it does you'll be better off with an even number of sticks, and to be on the safe side they should all be the same. An uneven number or incompatible (different) sticks result in deactivated dual channel mode, which iirc is about 4% performance difference. And yes, they all run on the same speed but max is the speed of the slowest stick.

So, i got
P4 3.0GHz
x800XT 256MB
1GB Ram
Audigy 2 ZS

I'm using pretty low settings, 800x600, and still got quite some problems on some maps (Ejod Desert for example has become quite laggy in .6). I refuse to lower the view distance which effectively results in a less competitive playing experience, especially while using tanks. While the new view distance does have its appeal, i still think it was a very bad idea of the developers concerning ppl with slower rigs.

Pc specs

AMD64 3800 @ 2.6
Bliss Gainward 7800GS AGP 512MB 24 pipelines enabled (490-1440)
2GB OCZ platinum LE
X-Fi Creative extreme music
SyncMaster 940BF "2ms"

all max 1280x1024 8x super antialiasing
Antisotropic filering 16x

The Game runs oke,but sometimes i have a stange lag.
I drop to 20 fps, when there is no detail in my view.,like many soldiers or heavy action.
just a empty view. It feels like a memory bug or something.

Use fraps :: fps 50/60

Mod rock *** balls :)

I decided to do an FPS check during a game of PR yesterday, and the game claimed my FPS was 50 at its lowest, and about 100 at its highest.

I'm not sure of the accuracy of this, because I was getting a ton of lag between the few seconds of smooth frame-rate. No idea why.

PR .5: I got several CTD's which unfortunately made the unplayable.
PR .6: I can only play for about 20 minutes before I get this message: "The connection to the server has been lost".
So I am now trying to install XP together with Vista, just to play PR.
