I heard about it on the DC forums before BF2 was even released.

Of course at that point there was no mod, just concept.

PC gamer mag in the UK did a little article about it, i though wow i have bf2 and as i played it twice hated it so much i never picket it up again i was like, wow i might finaly get some use for the £20 i spent, and the mod sounded right up my street and that was just about a month before 0.6 and i got alot of my clan to play it as well, though i think im the only one left from that group now who has stuck with it.

Found via Digg.com ... Dslyecxi's post regarding the possibility of adding the bullet-crack effect hit Digg.com somewhere around the v0.3 timeframe ... Googled "Project Reality" and my life hasn't been the same since

I knew about PR far before BF2 was released, thou I only first tried the mod in v0.2 and thought it was utter shit, uninstalled it and took me afew months to be convinced to reinstall it and give it another go by a bunch of my clan mates and never looked back. After that I got so into PR I made muttrah city and the rest is history

Was surfing through battlefieldplanet looking for BF2 mods. I grew tired of vanilla really quickly and hoped a mod would "fix" BF2. Low and behold I found a Project Reality Mini Mod 0.1, the rest is history.

I just browsed some mod downloads, and thought that "this sounds good".
And it sure was good.

Was looking for more BF2 mods. Right now I am just playing this and PoE2 but I am also waiting for FH2 and the next versions of US:I and EoD.

On some random topic on the BF2 forums some guy said project reality was better than bf2 and everyone should play it instead (or something like that I don't remember exactly what they said) so I downloaded it.

Found PR originally on
http://mods.moddb.com/4338/project-reality/?page=3 (I was phantom552_ICE, the second to comment about the mod). Didn't download and play the thing until I saw the QBZ95 on 0.5
