it seems when ever someone mentions US getting invade on a western forum ppl will utterly deny any possibility of such event occuring, but when someone mentions US invading another country, everyone full heartedly believes the event is absolutely possible as if it is inevitable.

I've played fallout. Thats why I'm against this.

First the US invades China, then China invades Alaska, then the US annexes Canada, then there are nukes. lots and lots of nukes.

This is not the direction I wish for PR to take.

Well from what I've read about their navy, they're not going to be able to land alot of troops with their aging troop transports.

I believe the PLAN (still the best name for anything, ever) is undergoing substantial expansion and modernisation.

However, even then I suspect their sights are firmly set on Taiwan. If they wanted to cripple the US they'd just liquidate their US holdings, causing the Dollar to crash. Much easier than an invasion.

well from what I've heard about their liquidity, prospering industry, industry spionage and general hypercapitalism, they could assembly a fleet in short time.
think about, they shot a guy into space after 4 years of planning without foreign advisors or experts.
they undeniably already have a good grip on the U.S.
Id like to see it but guess itd be much work on statics.

Well if we implemented an Irish militia my first thought would be: Huh, I guess the British Army wasted 30 years trying to get them to settle the f*ck down.
