I've just read about it on Wikipedia (not a lot) and I'm just curious as to how this could be implemented.
From what I've read, it's supposed to jam range finders, target designators, an incoming missile's infrared targeting system AND find the source of the missile while calculating a firing solution. Range finders are pretty useless in tank versus tank combat and target designators aren't in the game. I'd like to know how the other two uses of Shtora be implemented.

well, shtora can be represented by "flares" that confuse the lock of missils (like the mavericks in the a10 or the javaline , and the hellfire if is implemented) , just like flare sconfuse the lock of AA missils .

those flares can be launched in high numbers when deploying smoke , and should stay by the same time that the smoke stay .

abd about the autoloader thing , what i hear is that they are faster than the manual thing , but im not a tank comander of a tank loader , so my only source is internet :P .

i know that autoloader in russians tanks make the tank very vulnerable , a hit from the front can penetrate the tank , blowing the ammo and killing the crew , thats why m1a2s have a manual loader , with that they can put the ammo in a separated room , having more % of survive a hit .

Only middle-versions of the Maverick are Infrared, and If you knew the enemy had Infrared jammer you would take the newer Electro-optic versions instead. The hellfire is Passive Laser and Millimeter Rader guided, again not block able by shtora. the javline is blockable by a shtora, bascily the shtora if implemented would be used to counter the javelin (also if implemented)
so the Shtora is moot point.

I thought auto-loaders were meant to be slower? I know the C2 is manual and loads slower, but thought that was due to it using a 2 part shell rather than a single 'unit'as it were?

Can anyone enlighten me?

Different vehicle characteristics are certainly something i'd like to see in the future.

Eg M1A2 fast, good armour, etc,
C2, best armour, more accurate,

Obviously people who know more about the actual vehicles will be better able to advise on the differences etc.

simple solution, get close, fire while moving, works wonders.

yha but if he shoots first you are down and if you are moving you could hit a bump and miss a sweet spot and you still need to get 2 more hits but the mec tank only needs to hit you once.

everyone MEC tank is weak and the engine just needs to be stronger and all problems are fixed.

No, I am not joking, if you move perpendicularly in front of the enemy tank, while being around 200 meters, you can get a shot off, and it'll be extremely hard for them to hit a sweet spot, if they hit you at all.

ok the mec tank is weak but the sweet spot is suoer small, the m1a2 is normal but the sweet spot is like the whole front of the tank.
