MOST of the long time forum regulars I've found to be quite tolerant and patient to those who who are willing to learn the ins and outs of the game. There are a few exceptions though that just insist on being ******** because they deem themselves to be the PR "Elite".....pfffft!

the worst unprovoked thing i have seen a pr vet do to a noob is say "read the manual or play vanilla" not too harsh if you ask me...

Don't want to run into any mean players then don't be so damn lazy.

Read the manual or take the time to figure out the BASIC game play yourself so you're not asking stupid questions and disrupting someone else's game.

God PRM isn't rocket science but is a wee bit more complex than most other FPS so a few evenings on your own trying to figure things out can work wonders you know.

The majority of players are quit wiling to help someone with a question that can only be answered through experience and not covered in the manual (ie specific map objectives) but jeezus , simple mundane game play questions over and over drive one around the bend.

The problem I think is a generation or two of spoon fed youngsters.

Instant this , instant that , add milk/water and stir , few keystrokes and the meaning of life is revealed. They've forgotten how to teach themselves anything and more than likely , how to learn.

Take some time by yourself first and learn the basic game play BEFORE going on line.

I've been warming up and I think I've almost reached my stride and soon I will be very mean and angry.

Ive been playing yesterday PR on the 10mountains server it was Al Kufrah and got in a squad its name was ENG VOIP, what the funny thing is...no one was speaking at all...................after a couple 30 mins my companions where complayning that the game is boring, so i decided to overtake the squad a little for a while and then it got better..............then it was not boring...........nice ?

Have I ever told you about this episode? After a horrendous round on Sunset City, I bascially just give up and go "nuts". Nothing says nuts like a stopwatch and set tasks. How long does it take to swim across the river from the boathouse? Half way there I figure I can make a funny - so I write:

"Woot? PR suc*S I've been swimming for 20 minutes and I still haven't leveled up!"

Amongst the LOL's and HAHA's I get this: "Fck u! Go play CS!"

Nothing bonds stronger like people trying to explain to another gamer that "She was making a reference joke to D&D"

mind u i did some noobish things with a sniper rifle on street.. but it sure is fun shooting people point blank....

Let me tell you Street is not the map you want to play with 64 players. Its fun as hell, but ... No. Full stop. Fun as hell.

Never did play CS, can you actually level up in CS? Confused.
