G3 for its power, accuracy, and low recoil. I think this weapon is way too overpowered now. ATM it is better than each of the 7.62 marksman rifles. When the G3 has less recoil than the M16 & L85 you know you've messed up somewhere.

The G3 is a .308 Caliber Firearm. A .308 (7.62x51mm) round has about the same kinetic energy at 300 yards down range as a .223 (5.56x45mm) round does when it first exits the muzzel.

I think the G3 stopping power is just fine. You aught to see what a .308 does to Big game, nevermind Humans.

Anyway as for my favorite its still the AKM/AK-47.

I must say I'm very suprized that so many ppl like the QBZ-95 as there best weapon. Its a wonder DICE never made it for there chinese faction, it would have made the chinese maps ever soo much more popular than giving them a AK-47...

They did give them the QBZ support gun, which is the best support gun besides the PKM in vBF2, IMO

I think, the Insurgents and Rebels in the SF pack should have the Ak47 instead of AK101, there are you 4 factions in the expansion, that use identical equipment :/

The QBZ-GL is the best rifle ingame in my opinion, it has everything you can ask for.

G3a3 easily, although at short range I love full auto AK47, I seem to manage to rack up alot of kills with it on the none-basrah desert insurgent map whatever it's name is.

The AK-101. Love that thing, the sound, how it looks, how it fires. And the grenade launcher on it comes in handy too!

L85

Good scope, good range, excellent accuracy, not too loud. Just put bad guy's head on the point and pull the trigger.

QBZ UGL hands down... M16/M203 next and a close third between the G3 and the L85... i like the G3's power.. but its recoil is insane.. and the l85 is pretty good too..

G3 > all as far as I'm concerned. Even in CQB the 7.62 round is extremely evil... Mid range combat I'd give the edge to QBZ-95, my second favorite rifle. My only complaint the -95 is you have to cycle through all the fire modes instead of switching directly to one.

i like the m16a2 but i will like the m16a4 better if they ever get it in to a patch tho i dont like how all other teams besides marines get scopes for there assault riflesweres the 4x acog?

M16A4 with ACOG is coming for 0.7.

If anything using a 7.62mm NATO weapon should be a love-hate affair, but in PR it's the ultimate weapon - powerful, accurate and easily controllable recoil

I've fired the M-16A2 before and its way easier to control than how it is now. The recoil is like a two year old pushing you. Its firing a varmint round, not even legal to hunt with in certain states since it will most likely not kill the target. I have family in the military who use the M-16 on a regular basis and think the M-16 is the only bad part of PR. Sprinting and jumping aside.
