The M2 is a HMG. Our GPMG is the M240 series.Maxfragg wrote:and, the MG3 is no LMG for squaduse, if you did not notice, all conventional armys in PR only use LMGs, the MG3 would be a GPMG like the US M2.
All this attempt at educating the others that the MEC are an actual military and not some ignorant group of camel farmers, makes me

so more like an RTk?(I think thats what the one is called with the big magHarrod200 wrote:Not sure why it wasn't used (since it was in vBF2), but to me it would make more sense than the PKM just on a practical basis; PKM is big and heavy, RPK is not much more than the 47 on which it's based.
Drum magazines might be hard to come by for the insurgents (so they would use std. AK mags, turning it into something similar to the current L86; more accurate AR) but Militia should be able to get a drum mag or two per soldier using one.
I'm guessing a repost tho, I'll have to check'cos you know the MODs will...

RPK stands for Ruchnoy Pulemyet Kalashnikova (Kalashnikov's handheld machine gun). I don't even recall any word in russian about small arms which starts with T.

Re: RPK
sorry about offtopic but still
I have to admit that it would be nice support/light-at/marksman for insurgent lol and ~1903 piece are made. littlebit old fashion but still
I just notice that someone has mention Lahti L-39 so called elephant gunthejackalkernl wrote:in my opinion we should get the Lahti L-39 back in action lol
Basic Weapon Statistics:
Overall Length 2.24m
Barrel length: 770mm
Weight (no mag) 49.5Kg
Magazine (10 shot) weight 3.4KG
Ammunition: 20mm x 138belted. Brass or steel case, AP or HE depending on role.
this would be a good insurgent weapon, only a few were produced and sold so a good rare weapon lol

Re: RPK
Yes, it would make a nice addition to the insurgent's arsenal; and I'm sure the militia could have found a few...(replace the spec ops kit with a second support kit, using those 45 round mags perhaps)
