SCARs arn't, and never will be, issued in black. Only the very early prototypes were in black, all issue ones are either in tan or dark earth. IIRC, SOCOM even stated that they would no longer aquire "black guns".

Why? but will it be ingame?

Black is a poor choice for camoflauge. There is very little in nature which is actually black. Thus not having black guns improves the concealability of the units using the weapons.

Anybody else think the magazine looks really fat?

The model looks absolutely stunning, my note on approval aspects on that model would be the flat-top Picatinny rails on the upper receiver not being nearly wide enough, so in other words they're too thin. Also the selector switch is too bulky and fat. If I’m not mistaking the selector switch on the SCAR series are almost identical to the ones seen on AR/M16 type rifles and from personal experience I can sure as hell tell you it should be a tad smaller in size.

Oh, didnt know that. Thanks for the heads up. Though do you know, or have any pics of them camoflauged? Any pics on the dark earth colors?

Anyways, im grateful for the help so far from everyone. Im about to do some mods for it too, so it should be pretty sweet looking by the time Crysis comes out. (november 16) Though I actually teamed up with a modder planning on doing something with Crysis who might make my personal projects harder to work on. Anyways, wish me luck.

Ive asked eggman about making some models before but I never got a reply. Was a while ago though.

I guess I am not good enough. But its alright, I am still busy with other things.
