Having some maps with an airborne theme, all fine, in the same way as armour heavy maps etc. They just need to be made and used :)
Don't worry m8, if the project ends up hurting the community in any way I'm sure the devs will ask wallyjas to pull the plug.

To be honest, the devs are mighty busy with 0.8. however, if someone wanted to say, make this mini mod, im sure we could release it as a "booster pack" for pr, and all those interested can play it.

By this I hope you don't mean the EA version of a booster pack:

i.e. Crappier models, less effort, nothing but some new content instead of bug fixes/better features. EA bashing, I love it

From what was written here I thought he was gonna just use a new map.

People have talked about the 'Airborne' kit (soldiers w/parachutes) for ages. How about enabling the parachute on all soldiers in the Airborne gametype, perhaps sacrificing equipment (i.e. landmines, shotguns, even entrenching tools) to make room for the extra gear?

it was usually fun, but sucked if they were camping ur main.

Really tho, the whole concept of night fighting was ignored by EA....

Theres no HDR and dynamic lighting with the 3 year old bf2 engine so maybe they avoided weather effects and night time for good reasons.
SF had night maps of course but Im not keen on them for the reasons mentioned.
Theres a night version of Kashan about to be played in a community match if you search for it, kashan freedom

Guys, I was wondering if these mini mods, mods, and community mdos are going to be added to PR. Or if they are either seperate games or will be compatible with PR. Please HELP!
