It's cool Travis, you posted an authentic question that relates to PR. Threads going slightly off topic happen at times, and aren't usually a problem if they move back in line with the OP. The problem is when people "hijack" a thread and move the discussion so far off of the original question. This topic started asking about rocket arming distance, and it's turning into "peanut butter tastes yummy".

I did this last night.[rpg from more like 4 meters]

I turned the corner into a brit and just fired. Didnt really want to, but didnt have much choice. He was a medic, so I got a squad mate to pick up the kit and heal me. I was pretty near death.

I felt like I should have said sorry, as Im not too big on up close anti personnel rpg'ing, but you know, sometimes you just have to try and stay alive, which is ultimately, how I see most weapon use in real war going. it has an intended purpose, but hell, if its between dying and maybe living, Id assume most take the maybe living choice :)

Right?

If I don't have a choice, sure. Though I'll usually switch to my pistol if I know there are hostiles nearby.

I still feel the RPG-7 should get a pistol and have a 5-10 meter arming timer.

so they are not runing around with it out in C-Q-combat

also it seems the RPG-7 seems to go in a line with a slop i always thought the rpg had a good chance to go to the left / right of where your aiming.
