Right now there is NO reason to walk anywhere, because you can simply stop sprinting and toss your sights up if you see an enemy, or quickly go prone and start blasting away. If some sort of blurred vision or increased deviation was added I think it would increase tactical movement, as opposed to arcadey run and gun.
No reason? Try OGT. You make yourself too easy to spot if you sprint through the woods, same with Mestia also.

It's being worked on ;)

Testers are not supposed to release information about features in development.

If Reaper says anything more than he has already he'd be at risk of breaching the Non-Disclosure Agreement he made with the Devs when he joined the team.

So, sit tight and wait and see... ;) :)

instead of lowering their score, make there spawn time alot longer each time they die. like first time you die spawn time of 30 sec, next 45, next 60, they will start to get the message that if they die they are going to really mess up their team.

could also remove all forward spawns, rallys, bunker, fire base, ect and make it so you only spawn at main base. would make people that transport others very important and also make people that die really sad. but i could see that making some people very unhappy.

So everyone thinks that it's realistic to be sprinting in combat over muddy, sandy, grassy ground in full combat gear whilest under fire and to have a head like a steady cam?

Ooook then....

AGREED!^^^

I also think the points should reset after a death...this would keep peoples heads down and prevent from just sprinting everywhere....and at the end of the round, your score is that of your best "no-death streak".

Sound while running

I have an idea for when people are running, while sprinting maybe make foot steps loud and also the sound of sticks breaking ect in forests as that would make stealth and slow movement a requirement when moving into enemy territory.

some examples of sounds can be sticks braking underfoot, rocks sliding, leaves and foot hitting ground hard

These sounds should be able to be heard by enemies.

while walking or jogging (normal speed)sounds are still there but not sticks braking and stuff as often, also should be quieter

while crawling or crouching sound should be minimal

I also like the idea of something happening while sprinting but blur is not the awnser i was thinking along the lines of heavy breathing after a while so ur hearing is distorterd (which would fit perfectly with my above idea) aslo make the screen move up down and side to side like when ur bleeding badly but so that everything is still visable

Sorry but who here has Ever gotten seasick whilest playing a game? :-| Especially when the bobbing is only present when a sprint button is pressed and is only there for a certain amount of time AND you can stop any time but releasing sprint (incentive to not sprint everywhere so much?)

Plenty of games have head bob and I've never experianced being Seasick whilest sat on a PC I'm sure plenty of others will agree that Doom wasn't ruined for them by having to reach for a bucket every time... If you do then perhaps move your head a lil further away from the screen, Maybe look away every now 'n then?

Maybe you should feel dizzy after running for long periods, Simulates losing breath and feeling light headed and such. :D That's immersive.

imho I think if you start feeling motion sick from playing too long then you need a break

I don't think "some" people feeling motion sick whilest playing is good enough reason not to include a very very widely used and realistic effect that has an effect on the way the game is played and strategies used

Seasick is just a catch all term.
Seasickness doesnt occur obviously unless you are playing PR on a boat.(LOL)

But I have experience motion-sickness while playing a couple times. Not to the point of vomiting of course, but to the point I got up and turned the fan on to have some fresh air.

Also....I never experienced it back in the day when I was using a 17" or a 19" CRT monitor. I only had it happen when I switched to my LG 23LC1RB HD widescreen. It is just wide enough to give the perception of having periphrial(sp) vision to a degree.

Has anyone ever had their eyes go blurry while running?

It is a replacement. Such as many things in PR we will see that we can't stimulate reallife because our bodies aren't in it. We don't feel pain do we when we get shot? Instead we get a blur effect and a red arc were the fire comes from.

About the shake-effect or blur. I really dont mind. However I find that rush towards flags kills the reality within the game. And I think it would be good to have an improvement of reality (& gameplay of the game itself) when running will make your spatial awarness go lower.

As far as I know. On a battlefield soldier & militairy personel only runs from cover to cover. And they do not run across a whole battlefield & take the risk to get shot down!

And then you are runing, and you really cant run any further.. Are you not capable to do nearly anything.. try to take a 10 kg weigth on you, and run 2 km, and after take a gun and try to hold it still. you cant..

i think there should be a shakening screen, and it should also been unclear to simulate the tirednes after running.. But in that moment your soldier, will he not feel any by-effect, but then he slowly ran out of sprint, the effect get more "worse"

sorry, for the bad grammar
