Hard to get it set up? Or are there files we can just copy-paste from other people?

Katarn's settings for positional audio:
[R-DEV]Katarn wrote:Settings:
Volume: 100%

To set it up all you have to do is go Config - settings - UI settings - Tick 'expert config' then go to audio output and put katarns settigs in, and you might have to go to 'plugins' and tick the box at the top
Volume: 100%
MinDistance: 3.0m
MaxDistance: 100.0m
RollOff: 0.90
Bloom: 100%

They should rename their software. It's almost as bad as naming an operating system 'Crash OS'.

You guys are using it for different purposes. We're using it for realistic audio (large dropoff over distance), while you guys are using it for positional BF2-like VOIP.

Any server currently using Mumble? I'd like to test it but I don't know what the mumble server is, and wich PR server actually uses it...
I think i've read .:iGi:. but not sure.

From the small amount of testing I've carried out, I reckon that these settings result in decent Mumble communication.
BF2 Effects volume = 50%
Mumble volume = 100%
Mindistance = 4.0m
Maxdistance = 100m (max)
Rolloff = 2.0 (max)
Bloom = 100% (max)
One thing that's really buggy about it, with BF2, is that the volume never seems to hit 0. We are currently seeing if we can get it to, because other wise it's pretty vulnerable to exploiting.

Ok, for using Mumble for Team communication these are my recommended settings....
BF2 audio settings
BF2 Effects volume = 50%
Mumble settings
volume output
Mumble volume = 100%
volume attenuation
Mindistance = 2.5m
Maxdistance = 100m (max)
Rolloff = 2.0 (max)
Bloom = 100% (max)
We're currently investigating how to,
1. Lock the settings and make them unchangable for PR
2. Boost the roll-off past 2.0, so you don't hear people over 200m away.
