well, ingame it could only be a weaker version of the Ak-47, since it takes longer to get ready and should be a bit les precise, since the foldingstock is not as stable as the woodn one, bit it is cool :-D

THe animations wouldn't be with it, because the animator does not want his animations out of his mod

And we have no animator who isn't already busy.

Still, you would have to fold the stock out and all that jazz.

1. No, we don't need this AK. What we need is that Uzi. Because Uzis are awesome. Only slightly less awesome than MAC-10s and Bren guns (which we need too).

2. EG, its because they have to justify how the Malitia can be arms dealers that warrant the attention of a substantial NATO task force and have blown so much money on fancy AK-101s for their officers it explains why the rest of thier troops are using WWII surplus. :p

There is both the AKMS and the AKM modeled in that video. Mainly for me is is just that the IDF AK model is much more realistic in nature than the current nilla AK.

The vanilla AK sounded as powerful as an airsoft gun, and just about as accurate, too. What we have now is an intermediate step between the total fail of the original BF2 AK-series and the indisputable win of the IDF AKMS.

You're wrong about one thing, the 5mm round used in the AK74 would tumble, causing massive damage inside.
Realisitically the M16 should be like 1 or 2 shot kill most of the time becuase of this.

And dont tell me it's 5.?? not 5mm I can't remember off the top of my head what it is.

Your talking about 5.45x39mm for the AK-74.
We're talking about the AK-47/AKM. The AK-47 takes the 7.62X39mm cartridge, they have about the same knock down power and ballistic properties as a 30 30.

What do you mean, its very simple. AK-47' and AKModernized 47's are chambered for 7.62x39mm.
AK-74's, including the new ones, and AKS-74u's the compact carbines are chambered for the 5.45x39mm round.

People always mix up the model number 47 and 74 and do not realise they both take a totaly different cartridge. That is a fool proof fact for one, and two very easy to remember.

I agree with you that world guns is good to get down to specifics about muzzel velocity, ect ect. but I'm just telling everyone who dosent already know, a very basic and easy to remember fact about Kalashnikov rifles.

didn't want to critic you, it was just a general advise for all, when talking about riflefacts.
