Nope, 0.75 Insurgency is win, do you really expect 32 Insurgents to be able to defend 10 caches against an enemy with much better equipment, vehicles and who can practically insert into the city anywhere they want?
At least now there is some action when searching for them, the old Insurgency was stupid, all you had was lone wolfs going around the city blowing the caches up and nothing ever happened.
I see British winning this map too often anyway, 3 or 10 caches issue doesn't even matter.

The game doesnt spawn all the caches at once, I thought that was the whole point. Yes I agree with only a limited amount being able available for destruction

Personally, i'm kinda mad that such great maps are not being played because of the whole server crash thing. There needs to be a new game mode that doesn't crash or a way for insurgency not to crash. Archer, the up comping sangin, khara, and basrah in .8 will be just sitting there. They are easily the best maps, but yet they are unused.
Please devs, make these maps playable!

If you can increase the amount of ghostid's available, then it wouldn't crash.

Unused? Oo
Im sure i missunderstood. battlearena is full NON STOP! People are so dedicated to the insurgency game mode that they forgo their lack of patience for an unnatural amount of patience, the irony being that when they are in the server for more than 30 seconds, they become noobs again. xD

Ugh... I've never had a good experience with Battlearena. The insurgent side has never shown any kind of squad cohesiveness in any of the games I've played, and the same could be said about the British side with the exception of the armor squads which sit in the middle of the desert and shoot at insurgents for no apparent reason other than for a better K/D.
What is this about GhostIDs and why don't servers increase them?

Kills equal intelligence, more intel means easier cache hunting. But an armour squad should support the infantry, but if there's no infantry like you said, what else can you do?

Basrah and Archer don't crash because of the game mode. They crash because of to many networkable objects. In 0.6 we had the worst possible version of Basrah with capable VCP but the map never crashed like it does now since there weren't as many vehicles for insurgents. I guess destructable statics + vehicles cause it to crash not the gamemode. Same goes for Archer which is based on those destructable Afghan buildings. I don't know whether this was done on purpose so new maps like Muttrah City 2 would get more attention or it just happened to be like that but one thing is certain -
you need to fix it. In 0.756 Basrah was supposed to be fixed but apparently it isn't so in 0.8 it's about time to make it work.

Well, Mestia uses the destroyable bridge sections as walls at the storage bunker, yet you can't destroy them...so just make most of destructible buildings/walls indestructible?

Here's hoping for a fix in .8, I've never played insurgent 64p at all because it's not in the server rotation in my country because of the crash. Shame because Albarash was my favorite map and I haven't got to play it since .6.

We are planning on doing many tweaks for v0.8 to improve the INS game mode. We agree it currently is not perfect, epically with the maps being unstable for servers, which we also hope to improve.
Thou if we are just looking at which is better between v0.7 and .75, .75 is better IMO thou not perfect

My bet would be to significantly reduce the number of insurgent civi vehicles around the mosque. They are mostly never used and explode if driving on an uneven terrain. Reduce the number of vehicles for about 50% and reduce their spawn time for 50%. Who needs 20 cars for max of 32 players per team while every vehicle has at least 2 seats. And There could only be 2 dirtbikes since they are useless anyway.
I really hope Fallujah won't have these problems.

I won quite a few games with the brits. You have to destroy like 9 caches out of the many scattered around. If the whole team focuses on one cache as info becomes avaiable the insurgents don stand no chance.

yeah if i recall all the caches are active, only thing is you can only get intel for 3 at a time, and to those who say it's too hard without knowing the general area you're wrong, everyone knows pretty much the general locations anyways, they're pretty predictable, not exact points ofcourse but you can sort of asume the general location of most of the cahces for example there are always atleast 1 in the village. anotherone is either in the crop fields or in a building by a crop field

I think there should be as many insurgency maps as Assault maps...its my fav game mode but really only Al Basrah to play atm (which is also my fav map)!
I would love to see some more huge city maps with insurgency mode...im sick of trees and forests that look so similar (mainly the russian maps).
role on Muttrah City 2...man that map used to rock my socks off. I hope it still has the corn fields!

It seems that very few people understand that all that caches spawn at the beginning. It is only that three at a time are indicated on the map for Ins and up to three for Brit (depending on intel). That is how I read the manual anyway. I also base this on in game action. As insurgent, I can see three cache markers and still get report of cache being blown up, which is not one of the three markers. Is what I have described above correct, or can anyone provide evidence to the contrary?
I am also hoping for Insurgent ability to place cache's in the future. I have reason to think this will happen, and it is my belief that this will make it much more difficult for Brit's, because as it is now and as someone said above, you can do a sweep search for all the likely locations and be done with the map rather quickly. Ifn' you don't get your arse handed to you like happens every so often...

I don't know that all the caches spawn at the start but definetly more than the initial 3. I've run across caches many times that weren't the marked ones and blown them on my way to a marked cache. Like I said I don't that they all spawn though. It seems like I have gone through a place before and there not being one and later there is.
