Man that grenade explosion sounds so.. fresh

sweet, this is kinda what i was talking about in my "echo" suggestion

this is kinda like the weapons in battlefield bad company are. The echo is much shorter tough.

I'm making an announcement...
I got done modding sounds for other games, and I will continue my work on Battlefield 2.
I will release a Demo for my sound mod, a few days from now. The sound mod is called "The Sounds of War".
By reading everything people say within detail about my sounds, I took advice and edited them, and even changed some sounds. The sounds have more bass into it, and more convincing power of warfare.
The M4/M16's sound is changed, with a better sound.
The Ak47/Rpk/Ak74's sounds are changed, I looked more into editing and my sounds, and got that more detail unique AK-fire. It has more crack, and is heavier than the last sound.

The sounds of warfare demo will be released on battlefieldfiles.filefront.com I'll post the exact link when I upload it.
The demo will feature only the main weapons in Single Player. Only some explosions, cannons, and gun sounds will be changed(It's a demo )

*Edit* I'm also adding the "Supersonic bullet crack" into the demo. Taken from the real thing.

Very nice sounds, I really like these and appreciate the work put in! The grenade sound is stunning especially, I hope the dev team will attempt to work with you.

Although as Mora said, when you are posting a youtube link such as:

The Sounds of War Demo, Battlefield 2142 Downloads, Battlefield 2142 Sounds

The Demo release. Its a horrible Demo, only 3 sounds changed. I got backed up by stuff in my Personal Life, and I couldn't get working on the sounds like I planned. I rushed these three for the Demo, just so I wouldn't keep everyone waiting.
The sounds that are changed are the Ak47, M4A1, and M16A2.
I'll be releasing a BETA in the near future, with all the Single Player weapon sounds changed. And than the full release with everything changed later after the BETA.
No one please feel dissapointed, it's only a Demo. Some things could be changed in the future.
