I need to gonna check it`but new model is a little bit higher poly then old one, we have tested old Ka-50 with my 6 friends on Gulf, was no lags so this Ka-50 will have also no lags only need to fix abit code some 2 mistakes , with switching between cams.Can you also explain me what is tricount what is deference?I see in mayua something named Tris and higher Face count.But still dont understand deference.Ganna make screen.

31k faces? ehhhh I was expecting it to be a lot less than that... That is, really high... I'm getting worried about my 11k model im doing at the moment hehe.
You are going to want to bring that down to a MIN of 20k, really I would aim for 15 or 10k.

It`s strange but i have no lags and my friends also.And this model is with intereur , don`t worry man

it will works fine trust me.I gonna reduce some places if done with texturing so you will be happy
Also i have quastions for guys who have foto`s of ka-50 from top i paint bump now for top but don`t know where goes all these lines,and i told that i will get this model in game , i gonna make super lowpoly col`s.

Okay looks like its 65k+ tris which unfortunately is way too high for a game object :s
Thats roughly 10 times more than most of the vanilla model's tri count... One 65k object equals to about 10 tanks. So one chopper would take more resources than about half of the US vehicles in kashan.
Like Rhino said the very max is around 15-20k max. Even 15k is very high for BF2.

yep, and ehhh, 6 friends with all probably pretty good PCs? you need to think hard about a 64p server with loads of vehicles spawned, moving around etc, all the dynamic lighting they all need, server process etc, and then the players with low or med systems wouldn't be able to handle that kinda thing.

Look i make 1st textures done , then is model done for sale , after i go to optimize it more for bf so don`t worry. i know already 2 places where gonna optimize model.

Haha not good PC`s at this time i has only 1 good pc all other guys low

1 of them complitely lowest that possible to play

Hi everybody again, i have`nt posted for few days progress of model, becuase wanted to let see some big step than small, but now is time to make some post`s with new screens
Ok what i have done,i have finaly finished on bump and texture and symbols on both side`s and top of heli , have tryed to make it so real as possible , based on photo`s , i gonna make some small changes and fixes later ,but for now it`s done, all what i need to do now is make texture finish for buttom and place symbols .
After is easy work , simple wings and al smal details , so it will take less time than this main texture,cockpit will be also easy to p[aint 1-2 days

and model is done , lets optimize model for game a bit and start make col`s.

i prommise 80% i s that model will be perfect for game , i will optimize it , so developers from PR will take it.
