Last I remember the USMC are on Barracuda.
The US will assault from a carrier. I built a cp up right next to 2 of the main beaches (
one of them is in the postcard above) so the US have to assault the beaches
The map will be US vs PLA.
That was quoted from Dr. Rank himself in the actual thread.
Anyhow... I hope we don't go overboard with the U.S Army and give them the majority of maps. The USMC does in fact fight inland battles too

In theory, the USMC shouldn't be fighting on land nearly as much as it does, but it's the unique structure of the American armed forces that gives the Marine Corps as much land capability as the Army, something you won't find in other nations' forces.

Kashan as you have guessed from the update will be a US Army map with out a doubt, always planned to be hence there has never been any hueys in there and always blackhawks etc.
We will mainly have amphibious assaults for USMC, but we will give them some in land maps, at the end of the day we will try and aim for a equal amount of USMC and US Army maps, as we try and aim for around equal faction maps all round for every release thou not always possible to make it

well i rekon the Royal Marines could fight in land if they wanted to..
(and havnt they been doing so in afghanistan?)
just our marines are more of a special forces compared to the USMC which thanks to the USA's obese millitary budget is like a second set of armed forces for the "land of the free".

The royal marines commandos are not special forces, they are front line troops, shock troops just like the paras, their training is twice as long as the USMC (32 weeks) actually the longest infantry training in the world (excluding special forces). 40 commando just got back from Afghanistan like a month ago so they do alot of the fighting over their, least we forget the Falklands.

Everyone put away their miniature flags. This thread is about what maps the US Army will be featured in, not debating whether the US or Royal Marines are better. There is no defnitive answer to that question so dont bother.
Back on topic chaps.

Even if your joking its true that enjoying a game of PR is almost entirely relies on who your playing with.
