yes we can make a scene dedicated for the helicopters and we can fly down the river on al brasah map and i will find a way for the little birds to transport, as all of you know if you have read a few of my post i am leaving tomorrow and wont be back for about a week so you guys can work on the movie all together if you would like so we don't get caught behind, and make sure pwn3ge is with you when you are making scenes, he has good movie programs and sony vegas which is like top quality movie making skills. And thank you to all who have helped me so far with the movie. I cant wait to see what you guys have done when i get back.

Thats my only problem with the movie, the use of the british skins, not that I have anything against the english, its just I think it would be more respectful to atleast use US skins/kits so its a bit more accurate you know

The sun flare is a good addition, but needs work, it moves too unnaturally. Good idea though, I used it in my old Black Hawk Down map trailer...

Ummm...what? I think you see the camo/skins a lot in a movie, seeing as you are watching it.

:\ Take your time with this get ideas together, get more people, and make it something. Dont settle for less just to get it done in a night or two...

^^ agreed, get more into the planning and more practicing. In the trailer the COnvoy bumps into eachother. I think Cyrax-Sektor remembers the BF2s Movie, It it still in work i think. But thats really proffesionally made with scenes being done 10 times over and over again.

will do the bog standard infantry role, for either side, i would fly but lag might get the better of me! lol

sars99 on xfire, when you add me just put a note that its to do with BHD for PR, i have too many friends on xfire cba to sort them all out.

A few suggestions if you want to create a profesional looking machinima:

1. Dont record from first person! Record a server Demo (the host has to set the server to record or type "demo.recorddemo <name>" in the console) then use a program called BattleDirector (it's for replaying demos, in it you can disable the HUD 100%, no nametags, you can film i slomo or speed it up and use a free camera (that allows you to fly around))

2. Use the Slomo technique, if the camera man doesnt have a super high end PC. The point of this technique is filming everything in slomo and increasing the speed of the movie afterwards in Vegas.
This technique has some pluses and minuses:
+ It will allways have a nice fps (framerate)
+ It will allow the camera man to use the highest resolutions and settings (HD is the way to go!)
- It will not record sound (theres no sound in BattleDirector in slomo), so it will need a lot more work in Vegas.

3. Use bloom and color correction. Every film does that nowadays. To do that use two effects in Vegas: Sony glow and some color correction like Sepia.

The iGi Server doesn't have battlerecorder. I'll talk to tacticalgamer when mp5 gets back and see if i can rent out the private server. And guys - It's a trailer. Its just supposed to get you hyped up for the movie, not give away the whole thing.

Im suggesting we wait for .8 to start the "seriouse" filming so we have the proper map(?), proper USMC/Army team instead of brits, proper black hawk and what not. Perhaps maybe a little bit after the .8 release if we cant get all those on one map, some one who can edit maps could get permission to edit the al basrah training map to be US/INS with allot of humvees, little birds, black hawks (maybe 2 randomly placed BH wrecks if possible?) and technicals. Just my suggestions though.

Yeah I agree with Joker, I've done a couple of scenes already, it couldn't hurt to wait a month or two for .8, adds a little bit of realism.
