PR 1.0 will be so amazing. 0.8 is already, I can't imagine how 1.0 will be huge!

1.0 will probably have no BF2 elements anymore. Until including 0.7 PR still looks like BF2 (of course the gameplay is faaaar away from BF2), but with 0.8 it looks that there is not much left from the base game. When i saw that door breaching video in the dev journal, i thought i'd see a different engine. Yes, some basic statics, trees, grass, textures are from BF2 in the old maps, but with the new animations, the menu updates, and all the new textures, statics, dynamics, vehicles, weapons etc its really a new game now.

I think the animations are that little thing that now makes the difference between the looks of BF2 and PR, they are just awesome.

And since i "saw nothing yet"... I'll probably walk around in the maps for hours discovering stuff.

Though i think it will still take quite some time until they release. Until like a week ago i didnt have that "release coming soon" feeling at all. Now its there, but just because we see lots of stuff and everyone is talking about 0.8 - but i think its not that close.

But whenever it will be released, it will be one of the most important updates for PR since... 0.5 or so.

Oh, and it will be pretty badass!

seriously, I'd rather anticipate Arma 2 than PR 0.8 now that I know it's sooner

Who gave any sort of official release date?

Hopefully, it's more like the hype for Dark Knight, as Cloverfield sucked a fat one.

I'll download it when it gets released. Until then, the work the developers have done so far is enough to keep me coming back every other night. Besides, there's still people that need killin' pre- 0.8.

i liked cloverfield, it was cool, talks of cloverfield 2 are on from the producer, should clarify some stuff. I mean come on, the army partslike the b-52 bomber was heart stopping.

Cloverfield was great, Dark Knight was far greater...

I can honestly wait for this. I'm not going to have a lot of PR time until November anyways, what with football season beginning...
