I gave a link to his thread, I dont know him personally just as a player on TG, Doorgunner. So you can pm him as he seems to have lots of photos of what you are modelling and probably knows some exact details, etc

WRT people saying it doesnt have a spot, it fills the same role as the CH47 for the US/UK Army for the USMC (Heavy Lift Helo), so I hardly see how one would and the other would not.

I will, however, grieve for my beloved Sea Knight :\

OK i decided to restart (tris was on the high side ) and the interior height was COMPLETLY of the scale nohting cut be done to save it ill keep the screen on page 1 post 1 to tease you guys untile ive god something new to show

well you see technically it dose, but ehhh, at the moment we have no USMC 4km map that would suit anything like this or have any in the making. Nor do I think the German forces have any in the making, and if we did, we have the v22 from RC mod which just needs code tweaking, like i said in the Sea Knight topic.

The CH47 fits Sangin perfectly since its the no1 method of transport for the Brits in Afghanistan there fore both in terms realisum, size and generally feel, that chopper has a perfect spot in that map but even so there is still reluctances to make it due to it probaly only going to be able to carry 8 players (including pilot) which means it aint that different from a merlin apart from looks, unless we do something else or find a way to get more seats in.

How ever the USMC at best have only 2km maps with nothing that at all suits a v22 a sea knight or a CH-53, unless some one was to make one of course

Then how about the UH-1Y, because the N version is also going out of service soon and i never understand why there was a N version made for PR. This way Ice could also make a new AH-1Z, as they are 85% equal.

The CH53 fits the USMC perfectly as its the no 1 method of air transport right now. The V22 is the USMC equivalent to the Blackhawk (Med. Trans), whereas the CH53 is the equivalent to the Chinook.

Eventually one would predict a 4km map would eventually come, which is why you speak of the V22, as PR is supposedly based in the future. Then perhaps make the UH-1Y or a JSF?

this is nice and all, but does anyone know what this thing will actually do in game? Deploy jeeps? transport 8 people in this giant tomb? If its just for transport then, all I see this thing do is get blown up. its massive, and if the mec cow gets blown up that easy because of its size...think of this.

however, good luck I hope this has a reasonable spot in PR.

With hydras and AA missiles, yes please Actually that'd be great on kashan, the lb is just fodder right now - stands out a mile, weak as hell with only short range weapons
